Depends on your flow rate it clears up fast. I have a small 3 gallon tank in my kids room. It took for ever to clear up with the filter setup I have in it low flow rate for shrimp. But I added another pump to move the water flow and it clear up within 2 hours. It's safe for shrimp and a loach I have in the tank plus guppies.

I had bought another brand that did not work at all. This is the best you can buy! Cleared up my tank perfectly! I'll be buying this brand from now on. Great product!!

I have used many tetra products over the years. This killed my all my fish with in a hour. I looked up reviews and found a lot of people had the same thing happen. Amazon had good reviews until I asked Rufus than I was able to read how common this is. The only thing hanging on is my snail. But it doesn't look good for him. He is kinda of on his side on the plant. First my ember tetras all died then my Cory catfish. Then my female betta And it happened that fast. And like I said a lot of people have had the same experience. I spent more time cleaning and rearranging my tank then it took for this to kill all of my fish.

I absolutely hate this product! It killed my Betta fish. One started going crazy immediately then him and another jump out the bowel and the last one began to sink. It was so sad to flush them

Not worth the money. Ended up using a half a bottle for a 20 gallon tank and still dud not clear up the water. Went to PetSmart and bought a bottle of clearifier and cleared it up instantly and it was cheaper.
