Runs great if water gets low you will hear the water from the pump

This is my go-to for my 55 gal tank. My pleco makes a mess and this keeps his tank clean. The tank resides in my bedroom so quiet is a must. No issue with the noise level for sleeping.

Works perfectly but a bit confused by the Manuel so I'd suggest you use it like any other ones flow works great fish love it they have been swimming down stream and go back up repeatedly on purpose. The flow does not hurt them either and they do not get stuck in the filter thankfully! I really do love this item. Noise level is moderate.

A large part goes into the tank and doesn't look good on top of that if the filter gets real dirty it overflows the filter and can leak water out of the tank

Requires very high water levels, design needs to be changed to prevent water spill from back side when filters are close to replacement (front side flow level %26 rear levels are too close), and even worse very difficult to disassemble to clean. Returning the product after 2-3 weeks of use.

I hated the filter did not work good

I had high hopes but this filter was terrible. My aquarium water was always murky. The filter cartridges didn't work correctly. The bottom part of the filter that goes in the water was hanging loose and couldn't be fixed. After a couple months, the filter stopped working entirely. Total waste of money.
