TERRIFIC TEX TOONS LOADED WITH "AVERYISMS"
Seriously, a life lived without Tex Avery cartoons is a life not fully lived. (Did I just use the words "seriously" %26 "Tex Avery" in the same sentence?! I guess I did, and there oughta be a law agin it!) These are some examples of Tex's great art which has added so much fun and amusement to my long years of life. Remember that the wise philosopher Roger Rabbit told us that "A laugh can be a very powerful thing". This disc has good image %26 sound quality and contains many classics including real E-Ticket gems like 'Red Hot Riding Hood' ("Awoooo!"), 'Bad Luck Blackie', and the first appearance of Screwball Squirrel in 1944, which is just smothered in "Averyisms", and may be my %231 all-time favorite Tex Toon. (It's mighty close. Maybe a toss-up with 'King-Size Canary', which is available on the equally essential Volume 3. ) ~ D-FensDogG (not to be confused with Droopy Dog)

Waiting on this order because of a delay from fedex not Walmart. But I love older cartoons and hope in the future Walmart can carry more even if it is only online. Happy to order

Hail to the King: Tex Rex!
I've always been a Tex Avery fan, and this is a great collection of some of his best (and funniest) cartoons. My only quibble is that Warner Archive could have made this a two-disc set.
