I bought this item for my son . He loves this product very much. The functionalities required for every math student is available in this calculator.I would love to recomend this for any math student.
This calculator takes a little getting used to, but it, so far, has helped me tremendously in my AP Calculas class once I kinda got the hang of it. It has many more functions than a TI-83 Plus does that you use regularly in the higher-level classes. I would recommend it for anyone that's considering it.
This calculator is not for high school math; however, it is a great help with calculus, linear algebra, and similar subjects. Although it is not allowed on tests in my college, it is very useful when practicing problems and checking work. Also, there are many applications that can be downloaded to it that are and are not math related; these provide extra functionality as well as entertainment (there are many games available).
Like many first time users the calculator takes time getting to know. But overall I have to say the calc. is the best available on the market. I would recommend it to anyone.
I picked up the item at Walmart on May 21, 2014 and on May 27, 2014, It fail to turn off and none of the keys worked. I returned the item and re-ordered the calculator. In the absence of perfection, I happen to get one of the less best calculators. This does not deem my admiration for the product.
I love this calculator. I've used it through part of high school, and planned on using it in college. However! It is a CAS program. Computer Algebra System, meaning it will solve many problems for you, including, calculus. This is amazing for upper calculus, when you don't feel like thinking about the simple parts of a problem, but MANY teachers don't allow its use, which is kind of annoying. If you do buy this, ASK your teacher if it's allowed.
Amazing in every way. This is a GREAT tool for all different kinds of math and/or science classes (I use it currently in AP Calculus as well as AP Chemistry) and is much better than a generic scientific calculator due to it's advanced functions as well as "calculation memory" (you can see all of your previous calculations and use their answers as well, instead of just your most recent answer). Definitely out-trumps the TI-84 and 83, as well. Walmart has the best prices and I'm glad I bought this!
The package of the item itself was damaged, but luckily so far nothing is wrong with the calculator.
So I got the calculator that's being advertised which is great, but there's a few things that threw me off. First, I ordered it through Walmart and yet it came through Amazon, which I didn't know was a thing if it actually is. Second, I don't personally remember reading anything on the advertisement that the calculator was used because it has markings engraved into it with someone's last name, that was news to me thank you for that. Thirdly, the cable that is usually supposed to be with the calculator to sync information from a computer was not in the package, so that's also great. Overall, I got the calculator but in no way did it say that the calculator would be coming from Amazon.
USED product received with no manual or USB cable. The listing does not state its used and photos show brand new product and packaging. Why would I purchase a used calculator for $125 when I can get a brand new one for the same price? Very disappointed and will be returning.
