We all loved this as a dessert topper. We didn't do anything fancy with it, and will for sure pair it with something "nicer" next time - but it was a hit. I refrigerated the can for 4-5 hours, per the instructions, and then whipped it in the kitchenaid. The texture turned out great, as did the flavor. It was sweet, but not overwhelming, and it was refreshing to try something different!

I received this Thai Kitchen Sweetened Coconut Whipping Cream as a free sample to review. As a vegan that LOVES all things coconut, I had high hopes for this, but I wasn't able to make a successful whipped cream. Maybe it was user error. The instructions on the can say to leave it in the fridge for four hours or overnight, and I left it longer than that. When I opened the can, I found a thick, solid layer at the top. It was like a coconut hockey puck. By the time I was able to break that down, the whipped cream was no longer cold and had become liquid. The flavor was very good, and I used it to top blueberry pancakes anyway, but it didn't turn out how I expected.

I used this in place of my normal whipped cream. It has a strong coconut flavor, sweet but not overly sweet. I prepared it as directed on the can. It was refrigerated overnight and then whipped with my mixer. It did not have a lot of height or airiness. The bits in the can melted down as it warmed to room temperature however when I refrigerated the completed desert the clumps came back. Not sure if it was oil or fat but it was noticeable.

Pros: non dairy, good serving size, ultimately tasty. Cons: not as sweet as you'd expect, needed more sugar to be a true whipped cream replacement, difficult to manage. There was a large top cap of coconut oil that you have to contend with. There are instructions for this but it's just a bit more of a hassle than I'd prefer.

I received the That Kitchen Sweetened Coconut Whipping Cream for free though bzzagent, and as much as I would have liked to like this, it just didn't do it for me or my family. For starters, it says sweetened but only the coconut flakes were sweetened. There was also zero flavor, making it really flat. We had to add vanilla and sugar to it, which of course resulted in it not developing peaks when whipped. Then they're is the overall graininess, which is to be expected being it is made with real coconut flakes, but it really throws off an expected smooth texture. Then, in less than 24 hours, it separated leaving a watery mess and curds.

When I poured out the cream to whip up there was these large hard pieces which I couldn’t smash up. And whatever cream was left in the was awful. Wouldn’t buy it again.👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
