Thayers Witch Hazel Rose Petal Facial Toner, 8.5 fl oz

I've been using Thayers for years. The package redesign is nice - hopefully they aren't compromising on the formula. It's a great quality hydrating product that is also affordable even though the price has gone up. This is one of the few toners that don't dry out my skin (the other is Belif which is pricey). I also have the lavendar facial mist that I love using in summer. It has a nice cooling and refreshing feel.

Thayers toner has been an awesome addition to my skin care routine. It is alcohol free, does not burn, soothing, and I can feel a difference in my pores. I use this product two times a day, morning and night. I have been using this for a week now and already seeing improvements. The bottle does note that at the two week mark there should be improvement in skin texture so can't want to see the results for continued use. I like the bottle design as well, I feel like getting the product on a cotton ball ect. is mess free which I appreciate. The bottle is also 100% recycled plastic (excluding the cap). I value when brands recycle as much as possible so bottle design 10 out of 10!

I have used Witch-hazel all my life and so did my mom, but this product has the benefits of Witch-hazel, and rose petal and aloe which makes it unique and feels much better on your skin

I absolutely love this product. It is mild and gentle on the skin. The product was affordable and the size is good. The shipping time was super fast too.

Thayer's is our go to witch hazel missed to hydrate our skin moisturize without heavy oils or perfume. The rose petal is our favorite. It reminds me so much of my great grandmother's Rose garden.

Thayer's is the best toner. It leaves your skin feeling clean without weighing it down or drying it out and cleans up breakouts fast. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love this product. backstory I randomly had small bumps pop up on my upper back with a little Google search I figured it was back acne which prompted the search for witch hazel, I happened upon this particular product and the ingredients added Rosewater in particular got me to go ahead and give it a try. I started using it immediately and after about three applications, my back was completely clear smooth to the touch. I did proceed to use it daily on my body ( external use Only, including private areas). I absolutely love the product. It's now been including my daily routine.

As it always has been, a refreshing toner that doesn't leave your skin dry and tight. Just wonderful, long lasting and sweet smelling.

The toner does exactly what it says it will do. I am just not a fan of the rose fragrance. However, to be fair the word rose is in its title of the product. It's strong scented to me. Otherwise it's a great product.

My old bottle of Thayer's rose petal ingredients: Purified water, Aloe Barbadensis leaf juice (cert. org. fillet of Aloe Vera), Glycerin (vegetable), Fragrance (natural rose), Hamamelis Virginiana (Thayer tm proprietary un-distilled Witch Hazel), Extract Rosa Centifolia (Rose) flower water, Citric acid, Citrus grandia (grapefruit seed extract), Tocopherol (Vitamin E) acetate. Compare to the current formula and see how the water is no longer purified, the aloe is now fourth ingredient, the 'fragrance" is probably synthetic, the glycerin is not sourced as vegetable based, the vitamin E is missing and chemical preservatives have been added in. I had this bottle for many years and it never spoiled. So much for the need for chemical preservatives To make matter worse, the final ingredient is basically lye which is caustic to skin keratin. My advice, if you want a chemical free rose toner, comber Heritage rose water toner with Thayer's original Witch Hazel (which they haven't managed to screw up yet) and you will get something pretty close to the original formula.
