The Allswell Organic 12" Bed in a Box Hybrid Mattress, Twin XL

We bought one Allswell mattress, and it was so good we ended up getting *three*. No joke—it's that comfortable. We've been sleeping like babies ever since. Unboxing was easy, no weird smells, and it fluffed up fast. Plus, the price? Can't beat it — especially for an organic mattress. Seriously, why spend more when this one is perfect? If you're on the fence—just get it. You won't regret it.

I think it's unfortunate that natural products like the mattress I purchased, which is basically made from organic latex, cotton, and wool, cost nearly $1,**** dollars. Too bad there weren't more alternatives that were made from certified organic or natural products that had more realistic prices. I can't see for the life of me why latex cotton and wool could ever amount to nearly $1,**** worth of material.

I had high hopes for this natural mattress, especially given its promise of eco-friendly materials and great value. On the plus side, it's made entirely of natural materials, there was no off-gassing when unboxed, and it sleeps fairly cool—a welcome relief for hot sleepers. It's also reasonably comfortable overall, with a latex layer that offers some support. However, there are some noticeable drawbacks. The lack of a base layer means support is limited, and motion transfer is a problem—if you sleep with a partner, expect some disturbance. Edge support is just okay. Most disappointing is that the springs can sometimes be felt, and even at 175 lbs, I experienced below-average sinkage and pressure relief. Bottom line: while the eco-friendly design is commendable, the comfort and support just aren't there. I can't recommend it.

Still trying it out during the trial period. But so far it seems very firm and I've been waking up some some aches. By the way...the height I measured was 11" not 12" as advertised.

I suffer from scoliosis and I sleep mostly in my side and gave me terrible pain in shoulders neck and low back and also my sciatic nerve, my husband did like it and was ok, helped his back pain, didn't help much with mine. When we unrolled it, it had a horrible smell for like a week…gave me headaches. And compared to others that are thousands of dollars this is well made. Try it, you have 100 night, see if you like it, it's great maybe if you just sleep in you back or stomach.

Extremely disappointed. I could deal with the fact that this mattress is very squishy and feels like the cheapest mattress money can buy, but it smells strongly of a weird smell. It is so strong it was making my skin smell after sleeping in it. This is despite a fitted sheet, 2 blankets, and with another sheet on top to mitigate the smell. It comes pressed and rolled like a foam mattress, but once the air tight seal opened, the mattress quickly expands (with a huge amount of smell).

THIS WAS OUR 3RD mattress and unfortunately all of them were different and we returned this one. 1st order was a full and was medium-firm and we love it-perfection!!!! 2nd order was another full and is even more firm, suprised by that but kept it. 3rd order (this one) we got a king and it was completely plush and NOT supportive! i occasionally sleep on the full mattresses we ordered (for our kids) and this was nothing like them. After opening we knew something was wrong. we even waited 48hr to sleep on and no different than we opened it. felt like a goldilocks moment.. the 2nd one is too firm, this 3rd one is too soft, and the first one is just right! Needs quality control...we are so disappointed it didnt work out. i highly rated the other 2 matresses. thumbs down on this order !!!

Super disappointing! Extremely unsupportive - my husband and I sink deep into the mattress laying down, and completely touch the bed frame when sitting. We are both small to average sized people, so there's NO reason this should get happening. We will be returning this mattress and I won't be buying Allswell again. I can't believe a product like this actually made it to market, it's genuinely laughable.

A few hours out of the box: Bed is so soft that all 12 inches collapse under my weight. I am 200 lbs. I can feel the lateral bed support boards underneath me. Thru the mattress. Total disappointment. Can this be refunded? Wow. Its like a toy bed.
