It is very good light and deligh buttrry croissant, I like to have two in every breakfast
They are great with chicken salad or for breakfast with bacon, cheese and eggs!!
Good soft & fresh
If you are looking for an excellent roll to use for a breakfast sandwich, well look no farther. My family loves them. I split the croissant, butter, and grill it before I make the sandwich. I also use them for ham & cheese sandwiches or chicken salad sandwiches. Great flavor and texture.
I REALLY LIKE THE SMALLER SIZE. TASTE GREAT AND LOVE MAKING A BREAKFAST SANDWICK WITH BACON AND EGGS. SO MUCH BETTE THAN THE FROZEN PACKAGE READY MADE ONES.
I have been getting these for years and they're still good!:) No, obviously they're not going to be like the originals from Europe---but they're good enough to be a staple in my home for years. I use them for breakfast and making chicken sandwiches ( I do miss the bakeries chicken one and turkey on this bread *hint hint, Wal-mart* ;) Also, I like that they're not too flaky and the signature "buttery" taste is great. I just wanted to write this so that other buyers wouldn't be deterred from buying this yummy bread. Really, they're good: croissants:)
They are just ok. If you heat them at 375 for 5 minutes they have a great texture - crisp on the outside, moist and flaky inside. But, they are bland. They would probably work in a lunch sandwich - chicken salad, tuna, etc. Not what I would consider a breakfast croissant. Walmart's All Butter Croissants (bakery box) are much better. Butter makes all the difference. I don't eat croissants often (calories), but when I do, I want it to be delicious. I heat them at 375 for 5 minutes and they are delicious.
I have to agree to the previous review. I purchased these today after not having had them in quite a while, and they have definately gone done hill! It's a shame, because they used to be a quality product, but now they're pretty poor. They have a fake butter taste and aren't flakey like they were. Sorry, I won't purchase again.
You used to have perfect croissants from France- 8 for $3.98. No croissants can keep longer than a day so I'd buy a stock and freeze them. What happened? Now, ALL your croissants are terrible! Heavy, dense and tasteless. I had had hopes for these but they are not any better. The ones that you sold 8 for $3.98 "Poduct of France" were lighter, flakier, tastier and yummier. The only thing wrong was the packaging- nobody could imagine that there was a gourmet treat in the plain brown box. Only two weeks ago, I bought 3 boxes of eight and then froze then to heat them up as needed. When are we getting good croissants again?
I agree with a previous comment that these croissants are nothing like the ones that used to come in a brown paper box and were actually marked a "Product of France." They were the best croissants I could find anywhere and I really miss them. I will not buy the ones you are selling now. They are not good at all. Please bring back the delicious croissants you used to sell.
