The flocked covering keeps beads from rolling away and the grooved design lines help keep beads in place. It's the perfect size for bracelets, anklets, and necklaces and the divider sections making it convenient for materials. The ruler guides work just like you'd expect them to. Good value and arrived promptly and well-packaged. I wish it was available in more colors, particularly white or black.

The Beadsmith Bead Board w/cover has proven to be a Godsend. I bought this for my much better half who is a Native American beader and this boatd enanles her to sit in comfort in her easy chair and enjoy her hobby. It is the right size and shape and the cover allows her to stop what she is doing and go answer the call of nature without fear of her feline friends using her work as a batting toy. All in all, a great buy.

Sturdy. Love that it had a cover. Was able to keep my needs organized and safe when I was away. Smaller than other I have seen but still able to work on different length strands.

This works very well for me. I like the separate compartments it has and the lids works great.

The best part is the cover. It protects the beads from being scattered.

Finally—a bead tray that respects my designs! 🙌🏽 Out of all the bead trays I've used over recent years, this one easily takes the crown — and it's all because of the lid! If you've ever spent time laying out a bracelet or necklace design only to bump the tray and watch your beads scatter like confetti, you know the heartbreak. 💔 Having a lid? It's a GAME-CHANGER. I can pause my project, cover it with the lid, and come back later without starting from scratch... Or rebuilding my design! Now, let's talk price. These trays are never cheap, and I do think the plastic could be a bit sturdier for what you pay. But compared to others I've bought that didn't even include a lid, this one was the best investment. The compartments are a good size, the measurements are just what I need, and it's still small enough to remain travel-friendly! I just put it on top of the containers in my bead travel bag! If you're serious about beading—or just tired of chasing runaway beads—this tray is worth it. I'd buy it again for sure.
