This is the first time I've purchased a thread burner %26 I really like this one. I like that you have to push the burner part out %26 hold it out for it to become hot so there are fewer chances for getting burned accidentally; when you let go, it quickly goes back into the main housing unit. However, the plastic safety strip that goes across the button to keep it from being pushed out is very flimsy %26 this is definitely not safe around young children. I also love that it's battery operated, no tripping over electrical cords, no need to search for an available USB plug, just pop out the used batteries %26 pop in the new ones. I am quite pleased with this retractable thread burner %26 recommend it for adults and responsible children.
I use it to clean up loose threads. I love the retractable tip. Great safety feature!
I love how easy this makes trimming edges on fabrics! Great for small areas!

Worth every cent. works GREAT, Ive had mine for at least 4 yrs and still works great. Still using my first tip. love that the tip retracts so no lost lids or burning things before it cools down.
Works great and has a replacement tip stored in the battery compartment.

This never worked. The tip never heated at all. Tried the replacement tip that came with it, but that never heated either.
