The Beadsmith ThreadZap Craft Burner – Burns and Trims Thread, For Finishing Stringing Projects

I use this for threads, but also for testing jewelry. I pick an inconspicuous spot, and depending on the smell, I can tell if a piece is amber.

I really like this. I am just starting to add material and doilies to my craft and design projects. The tip of this is really accurate versus using a lighter or matches. Works well, heat time is very brief and you can see the tip turn hot. I did not want something big and bulky and also did not want to have to worry about having an electrical outlet nearby. Meets this criteria and fits easily in my fairly small hands. A good price as well.

It took a little bit to master it. It has a cap that is to be on when not in use. You have to be sure it is on exactly right on the button will be pushed on. The cap slot just needs to be a bit wider. I am very happy with how I can seal off the end of the thread so close.

I usually don't like buying products online(I like to see and feel it) but since I've been making Macrame's,Beading Stitches ect, I had to try this product. Got it sent to store (so no shipping fee and paid product online) came in less than 1 week and I LOVE IT!!! :) This Zap is AWESOME, does everything it said it does,even w/ one AA batteries wasn't sure how hot it be,but I just held that button less than 5 seconds and it just zapped that thread right off,I swear I giggled,lol. So overall get the product, it's much better than trying to do it the LONG way,makes your work project so much better and clean looking with no threads "peaking" out. Thanks Beadsmith for making it so much easier,yay!! :-)

This tool makes cutting/sealing chords easier. I'm happy I bought it; however, my friends told me they paid $5 less for theirs.
