This is really delicious coffee. the price of course is too high (in my opinion) coming in at two bags for just under $40. Unfortunately however that's pretty much the going rate for organic flavored coffee right now and at least this one had a noticeable macadamian and cocoa flavor to enjoy
I love drinking coffee every morning and a few months ago I was looking for an organic coffee company and decided to try this one out. I also switched over to whole beans and glad I did. These coffee beans from The Bean Organic Company are great! They smell amazing before and after brewing. They have great flavor and the coffee after is very smooth. The coffee tastes high quality and I'm glad they are organic. A little on the pricey side but well worth it. I get these every time I run out now.
After looking around for an organic coffee I went with this brand. It costs a little more but definitely worth it. The coffee beans smell amazing especially when brewing after grinding. It has a great smooth taste that both myself and husband like. We now purchase this every time we need more coffee.
My husband is a coffee snob and this was a gift. I know he loved it, because it is completely used. If he doesn't like a coffee I give him, it sits for a long time. I love the balanced flavor. Not a bitter taste at all. The hazelnut flavor was a bonus!
The smell of the coffee beans makes you want to brew a cup immediately. The CCOF means it's certified organic by California Certified Organic farmers to have met organic standards. The coffee beans themselves are from Central America. I'm happy the beans meet organic standards and hope they are mold free :) the coffee beans grind well and the coffee tastes great to me!! I'm not a coffee snob but I don't like flavors added to my coffee. This bag is a great go to for organic medium roast. My local grocery store only has organic ground coffee, not beans. I DO know that grinding your own beans fresh makes for better coffee! Store the beans in an air tight container. Don't buy into the freezer trick, it's not true!
I like this coffee for milk drinks and americano. I tried it in a super automatic with 10 grams of coffee to 40 grams of water. The coffee is roasted medium and has a decent flavor. It makes a decent espresso with some crema but is not as flavorful as my go to bean from Stump town. It grinds nicely without issue in the super automatic and is dry enough to not clog or clump. The bag smells fresh and is comparable or better than popular beans. I mostly tasted a chocolate note with dark roast characters. My beverage of choice is coffee Americano made with one shot of espresso to 100ml of water. This bean does a decent job for that combination.
a good cup of coffee must be made from scratch. a pleasant aroma coffee , a good coffee bean hand manual grinder, 1 cup at a time. it's a nice big bag of whole beans, top to bottom no air pocket. all bean. I tried it black, tried with creamer, tried with real Cane sugar. tried with creamer and sugar, a great cup of Joe is old school simple. taste good sipping hot from a saucer %26 smell like Grandma's kitchen at 5:00am. that morning coffee smell fills every room. cost a little bit more but there's a reason why. it tastes old fashioned %26 delicious. ( black with a shot of fresh honey my favorite )
I like the packaging. When I opened the bag, the aroma hit me, I breathed in deeply. I personally like the look of shiny beans, which these were not but that does not mean the coffee is not any good. While I am not a connoisseur, I am a bit of a coffee addict. I brewed my usual ratio of about 1 Tbsp whole coffee beans then ground to 1 cup water, and I use a French Press. The color was instantly a touch lighter than what I am used to, but this roast was medium, and I always buy a dark roast. I always have my coffee with fresh cream no sugar but raw cow cream. The flavor was fine but a bit light and mild tasting. I guess I just prefer the dark roast. I had a second cup and forced myself to drink it with no cream, and I can taste a slight tannin taste; of course this is after the coffee had been brewed in and sitting in my French Press for 30 minutes, which will make it stronger and more bitter, so this is normal. TIP: if your coffee is bitter stir in a dash of salt, a sprinkle at a time until the bitterness is gone. This is a good average coffee. It's not my favorite but not the worst either. My favorite is Arbuckles Organic Ariosa. Others I enjoy are Cameron's Organic French Roast, Azure Standard Market Organic Black Sheep Cornerstone, and Equal Exchange Organic Mind, Body, and Soul. All of which are whole bean and dark roast. There are many others I drink, but those are my favorite. I have been drinking coffee everyday for 25 years now and up to 10 cups a day. About 5 years ago, I bought my first organic coffee 5 lb because it was on a massive sale, and I noticed for a couple months I did not have a headache. Which was new for me as I had a headache every single day of my life without fail since I was in 6th grade. After considering what caused my headache to finally leave, I realized it was the coffee. Did you know coffee is heavily sprayed with chemicals? Ever since, I only buy organic coffee now. If this Coffee Bean company offers dark roast, I will try that as I prefer dark roast to medium roast of any coffee brand. Yes it was good and it is one I would recommend.
I very much enjoy grinding my own beans for my morning coffee. This holiday blend tasted good. The vanilla cinnamon flavor was pretty subtle and wasn't overwhelming. The coffee itself was smooth enough, with no harsh bitterness, but it was robust coffee like a dark roast. I tried this coffee both hot and as a cold brew, and in my opinion it was better hot beverage.
I was expecting a high quality specialty coffee. This was a big disappointment ; it had a faint coffee aroma, but just what you get from any average commercial brand. I know what very fresh coffee aroma smells like: it fills the kitchen like you've walked into a Starbucks- heavenly. This also after grinding the beans and then brewing had very little flavor.
