Most real returning home WW2 film
If you are looking for a film depicting the trails and hardships of the returning WW2 vets and their families. This film showes the PTSD, the attitudes towards the returning soliders that the civilians had. When the soliders came back to their jobs that were promised. The quick war weddings that happened before the soldiers shipped out and the women who were looking for only allotments and prestige of being a military wife. Finally, the looks and pity that those who were disabled had to endure.
