I fried the sea bass in lemon flavored fish coating and it turned out really wonderful! It didn't have a strong fishy taste nor smell, but was very light and buttery tasting. Was also very fresh. Would definitely recommend! There are 2 large filets in each pack. Great quality for the price!
This is the best frozen fish item i've ever had. The taste is so mild, doesn't smell. It would be a great product to trick your kids into eating if they don't like fish. I was very surprised at how good it turned out. I cooked it in the air fryer and a lot of the time other fish (that isn't breaded) will fall apart when I flip it halfway through cooking it. Not this one. I have had the best meals with this. Planning on having this for Thanksgiving as I only like turkey in the sandwich lunch meat way. But I will be more than happy with this product. If you are in need of frozen fish because of dietary reasons - this is it.
This fish is a good sized portion, loaded w/ protein, that keeps you full; and, it is absolutely delicious, flaky and a staple in my husband and I's fish rotation. I cook it on parchment paper, on my air fryer basket, w/ great results—every time! While I wish that this fish was “Wild-Caught”, it still is picked and packaged w/ great quality standards.
Very easy to prepare and season any which way you want. For me I would use avocado oil with a light of butter and fresh herbs a sprinkle of maybe time or rosemary, which is the one you prefer. I know a lot of people don't like Rosemary. the taste of the fish is very light?
This is one of my favorites. Goes well with garlic and citrus. I also like it with sweet or spicy flavors like mango or hot chilies. It has a great texture if you know how to prepare it. In my opinion, this fish is not meant to be hard fried. You'll either like it or you won't.
This is excellent fish. Far better than cod or haddock. I even like it better than halibut, and you can't beat the price. A lot of frozen white fish release a lot of water when thawing, but not this. It cooks up well and holds its shape and is firm but flakes easily with a fork. It's also extremely high in Omega 3s. A six ounce serving has about 1,000 mg, not far behind fatty fish like salmon and herring.
Barramundi has the same health benefits as Salmon but with half the calories. For people who do not like fishy taste of Salmon, but want the health benefits of Salmon this is the best tasting, sweet buttery tasting fish. It bakes to perfection with a little olive oil, lemon zest, and fresh garlic. It's also delicious cooked on stovetop or grill.
So delicious!! I pan-fried it in a little olive oil and violà! Tasty and a high-quality source of low-fat protein. Very tasty! 😋 It's pretty spendy for me. It's definitely not an everyday meal, but an excellent splurge. I'd been a vegetarian for years due to a medical condition. When I was recently cleared to add fish back into my diet, I danced a jig and looked for something I'd never tried, lol. Barramundi! 😋
This is a mild flavored sea bass. It doesn't have a fishy taste, which I appreciate. The firmness is medium and nutritionally, I'd choose salmon for its omega 3/omega 6 balance. Overall, it's satisfactory but not a standout. Flavor it up with seasoning and pair it with nutritious side dishes for a well-balanced meal.
The product was extremely rubbery when I opened it after thawing, the whole fillet was just off. I was questioning even cooking it, but I did and there was no way I would have eaten it. It was the color Grey and it was super squishy after I cooked it like it was raw but it was gray. Idk. Gross.
