This movie is excellent for families to watch specially kids help understand how things can happen but love the movie it is good. Great story and very good action and may teach a lessons of things are true in life. 😇. It may make you cry too and sad . It emotionally will affect you. 👍

It's a great story. It's a true story about a southern white family who broke the color barrier and took in a young boy and gave him a loving home and family. Truly a great story.

worth the buy will buy again for gift 2025
love this movie after i rented from my local library. wanted it for a while but now i own it and its worth the buy. based on true story get your tissues ready this movie is an emotional rollercoaster of tears laughter anger and love. recommend to buy

Instant classic “based” off true story with usual hollywodisms. Family loves to pop in an old dvd for movie night.

i have seen this movie on tv,about 3 times and i really enjoyed it,i brought this for a gift and know that the person i got it for is going to enjoy watching it as much as i did.it is a sad, funny at times, and serious .it is basted on a true life experitments which makes it all the better to watch and if you havent seen it you could.

Such a cute movie
Sandra Bullock did such a good job acting as a sweet southern girl. I also liked that she spoke her mind about everything and is very protective of Michael and her kids. Plus, it's a true story. It was such a cute movie. Everyone must see this movie.

The dvd wasn't locked into the holder, so it was sliding around in the case. When I opened it the dvd it was scratched. Now I can deal with a scratch here or there but this was ridiculous. A tip: Don't just make sure its the right dvd (got burned on that now I check). Please also check the condition of the dvd you order.
