Although this kinstruction is easy to assemble for an adult my soon to be ten year old daughter had a hard time trying her best to build this item and unfortunately she gave up after crying I'm a single mom so I had to roll up my sleeves and get to work I to put this item together it was a breeze putting this together I myself can put anything together but for a child who this toy is intended for might have a hard time The difficulty my child had was when she would try to put on another piece something she already put on would fall off easily you have to be gentle which is no easy task for a child trying to build something so basically if I buy more I have to assemble these myself I bought her a total of three so I know I'll have to put the rest together I just wish these were easy for a young child to put together so they could pat themselves on the back and not have to be disappointed that they can't put it together after trying for a long time besides the fact she can't put it together she loved the Shopkins that came apart and once it's put together it's worth the price I paid for the item and at the end she stopped crying and enjoyed her birthday gift
