Cotton, usable drawstring
My son has been wearing size 12 and this 14 seems like a pretty big step up, so I rated them a little large but I think that is also the case with other 14s I've ordered. But the drawstring is usable and the waist is elastic. They are actually cotton. They seem to be good quality and long and color as shown. Can be dressed up or down.

Best shorts for kids!
I have boughten these shorts in various sizes as my grandson in CR has grown. They are soft, wash well and dry quickly. He has worn these shorts for years, and they still look new, despite being washed many, many times. The elastic in the waist has held up well. The pockets come in handy, too.

Easy, Comfortable, and Stress-Free
I bought these pull-on shorts for my son, who is autistic, and they have been a game changer. He's very sensitive to textures and tight waistbands, but these are soft, stretchy, and easy for him to put on by himself. No buttons or zippers makes getting dressed so much easier. We will definitely be buying more!

Nice shorts for kiddos
The pant is little big but it's still good. Nice, cozy and comfortable. Disclaimer: Ten year old has helped to write this review who actually is wearing this pant.

Great for Uniforms
These are perfect for my chunky 3 year old who has to wear a uniform and is potty training, it has an elastic waist. The denim fabric hasn't faded. The longer inseam and longer rise is great for school.

A bit bit, but okay
My son is 7 years old and these shorts do fit him big. They are fine once the drawstring is tied. They should last him for a while.

Change string colour!
Great shorts. Great quality. Hate that the string is an ivory colour though. Can't they make it the same colour as the shorts?? Goes from being dressy to tacky real quick. My son tucks in his dress shirts and it just looks awful with the cream ties sticking out.
