We checked this book out from the library several times before deciding we needed to just own a personal copy. It's engaging and easy to follow, and my 10 year old loves it so much he has slept with it under his pillow.

this book has bright colored photographs of the food and gives instruction to those who are learning to cook. i bought one for my 12 year old daughter at Christmas and since she enjoyed it, i bought this one for my niece when she turned 12.

My 9-year grandson loves to cook so I purchased this book for him. He is so excited to try out the recipes. It's going to be so fun helping learn more about cooking different dishes.

After looking it over for a day she picked out Jam Thumbprint Cookies and made them with her little Sister and Mom. They had a great bonding experience and she's practicing her reading as well.

This is the best baking book I have seen for kids. I am actually going to order another copy for myself because of the scope of recipes and the ancillary information. So why the 4-star rating? The font is very small for any age, but particularly for young readers. Larger pages and larger font would have made this absolutely perfect.
