Don't worry about bad science. Enjoy the movie!
Yes, the science of that movie (and most others) is bad, but "The Day After Tomorrow" is still enjoyable and very well made flick! :-) I re-visit the film once per couple of years and it's fun every time, which I can not say about other disaster movies like 2012 or San Andreas, which are filmmaking disasters. Well, there are totally unnecessary and ridiculous action sequences in the "The Day After Tomorrow", like for example "saved by the ice axe" scene at the beginning of the movie, but it still deserves 4 stars in my opinion. It's a good entertainment and the score by Harald Kloser is fantastic!
