An excellent DVD and also a thanks to Walmart
Enjoyed the DVD and want to thank Walmart for lowering the expense of the product due to a pricing mishap. Walmart should be congratulated for their action in this matter.

Terrific Movie
If folks at Walmart were aware of the historical value of this dvd, they wouldn't be selling it at $4.99. This movie brings memories of writer Jules Verne and movie producer George Melies, who were most likely contemporaries and 2 sci-fi geniuses. Both "The Day the Earth Stood Still" and Melies's "A Trip to the Moon" can teach a viewer with a historical eye what life was like in 1951 or in 1902.

Super Cool SF oldie but goodie
Received the 3 DVDs safely today by FedEx in a bubble mailer. Watched The Day The Earth Stood Still movie in my LG DVD player and had to turn the TV (RCA) volume way up to hear the voices, but the special effects were loud. The picture was very sharp and clear and enjoyed it. There are other features on the disc besides the movie. The disc didn't have cover art on it, but the disc case did. Am glad to add this to my library. This is a must for any classic SF collection.
