The Disney Castle

This is great. Wonderful. Everything is very well thought. Heart shaped apple is my favorite. Genius! But Minnie's and Tinker Bell's legs are too loose. They come out easily. And the upper levels of the castle are very loose too. While playing when you push it a little bit, it may fall. And also an additional Pluto character might be very good.

I can't recommend this product enough. I'm a massive disney fan and I loved building this set with all the references to all the disney films was a great touch. It looks brilliant on display. It took a while to build but was worth the wait. I did however come across about 5 pieces missing which hindered my build but missing pieces were sent by Lego and received promptly. I'd love lego do more sets from the Disney Parks, like a Tree of life from animal kingdom or attractions from the parks. Overall great set and build and I highly recommend.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The Disney Castle is magical, impressive and filled with so many details and special surprises. My children (ages 5 and 7) saved up their money for months to buy this and it did not disappoint. My 7 year old is the meticulous master builder and he built for 6 days to finish this so he and his sister could play. They loved exploring the various rooms and hidden extras that made this such a quality set.

I haven't ‘played' with Lego for about 30 years and the only reason I picked this up is because it was the Disney castle and I love Disney. I had no intention of buying any others. I completed this over 2 days and having never done a Lego kit before I had expected it to be very challenging, but the instructions were very precise and the build experience was relaxing. Very satisfied with the result. It's incredible and I'm amazed and in awe of the designer. My fingers are now itching for another Lego project as there is just something therapeutic about building with Lego. This will be on display for a month or so while I wait for my new Lego kits to arrive, but it is definitely one I will rebuild in future. Great service and great products. Thanks Lego. (Please note the mini figures Stitch, Chip and Dale do not come with this set. I bought these separately.)

My wife and I purchased this to build with our daughters (7 and 2 - our 7yo found it more interesting, 2yo just wanted to play with Mickey!) We built it together. It took us 4 days (not all day!) and loved doing it whilst watching Disney films. We're huge Disney fans so this was a must! The detail and size is so impressive.

A must for Disney fans, this will go great with the Disney mini figures series 1 and 2. It's an expensive product but I thinks it's worth it. My daughter does play with it, there are a few parts that come apart easily but it's Lego and can be put back together easily.

I've wanted to this for a while and finally got round to ordering it. I have to say that the paint job on all the characters and the lego pieces are faultless. Very easy to get carried away with the building process as I managed to get half way on the first day of the product arriving in the mail. Only downside would be that some of the pieces are really hard to take apart it you put a piece in the wrong place.

I'm loving it but not impressed I was missing 4 pieces in the set Lucky I had extra.

This set is a major one, and every serious LEGO builders should have it. Very massive, heavy, beautifully done. However, I would have like to get more minifigs with this colossal set. A few more characters that are important to the Walt Disney universe. But the major problem here, is the many many many missing pieces. What is happening to LEGO ? More and more big sets are missing several pieces. LEGO should take a serious look in their factories. Especially the factory who is making the sets for North America. Read the comments and reviews on this site but also on forums and socia lnetworks. More and more sets are missing a lot of pieces...........

This is my second large build and I have got say I am a disappointed with how flimsy the structure is once built. I am lucky enough to say I have Hogwarts Castle and it got moved around a lot because, it has two sides like the Disney Castle. You build the castle in two parts, on the ground floor at each side of the building, the outside walls only connect one end and the other flouting over a green flat surface. It make it very hard to know where you put your hands when you need to pick it up without bits falling off, as the castle is slightly top heavy. Once the build was complete I tried moving it to its permanent location but sadly the top toppled off and had to be rebuilt twice once by me and second time by my husband ( the purchaser). Unlike Hogwarts I won't be turning it around so you can enjoy inside the rooms as I do not wish to have to rebuild it again . It's has made me question whether the expensive build are worth it and this one is sadly not.
