Unexpected Ending
I got hooked on the Divergent Series during my free HBO promotional time and had purchased the Divergent and Insurgent blu-rays. The previous two were so good that I had high expectations for this third installment. The twist with another civilization outside of the wall that was promoting the factions and the rift within Chicago was an ok spin. I would have preferred to see how the factions survived as one and moved on beyond the wall. I guess I am a sucker for "happy endings." I still enjoy having the complete set and would recommend this movie to friends.

Different ending
I am an avid reader, and although I wasn't entirely thrilled about the trilogy denouement, it did complete the story line in a way that was cohesive with the other books. The first two movies were relatively true to the first two books content, but the final installment's ending was too commercialized. One has to ask did the screenwriters or directors ever think someone might want to watch this movie without a plastic happily ever after ending.

The movie is ok but the Digital HD is from Vudu. In their system unless you have a tv and blueray player that is less than five years and has HDCP protocol, you can not view the movie in 1080p. When I addressed this with customer service, they suggested I get an HDMI splitter to work around the protocol. They offered no other solution. The splitter would cost around $20 and would only work on a single tv as long as you had a supported HDCP Blueray player or other streaming device.
