The Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Tradition – Girl Scout Elf with Blue Eyes and Storybook

It was a gift for my son and his family. I only hope they have fun using it when their kiddo is a little older. Wish I'd had something like this when my kids were growing up. What a fun way to count down the days til Santa comes and an awesome attempt to promote good behavior. :D

We gave my granddaughter the girl elf last year, and she somehow lost the hat, so we bought her this replacement (now she has two) and then I made a felt Santa hat for the first one, so now Sparkle and Sprinkle are very happy! She finds them in different areas of the house and is so happy with both her elves!

Got the boy and girl several years ago for my son; since my sister passed away this I got another boy and girl for my niece and she is having a blast with them, it has taken her mind off her mom...Love them....

I love this girl elf. She has delicate feminine features, light blush and pink lips and tiny dot earrings painted on. So cute and well made! High quality printed book included. Can't wait to take her out next year!

Elf on a Shelf has quickly become a favorite with my grandkids. Now they all have one in their family. It arrived about 4 days earlier than expected, which allowed them to enjoy it this year. Very happy with this purchase.

Elf On the Shelf is a fun way to send 'messages' from the Elf to the children with a 'note' from the Elf wherever he/she is found.

My kids absolutely love Sprinkles. We watched the move and red the book and every day they go around looking for him. My 7yo daughter is hearing my 10yo son is deaf. I was able to out a cochlear implant and hearing aid on this one. Next yr I'm buying a girl and will let her be hearing like my daughter that way both kids have a elf on a shelf.

I have been against getting one of these because I thought Santa was plenty and why would I want thw burden of trying to plan out ideas for every night. My sister-in-law told me that I needed to get my daughter one because they were such fun. So when I saw this one I snatched it up. All items look to be in very good quality and my daughter loved the book. I've been checking out Pinterest ideas and now I'm more excites about it and can't wait til the day after Thanksgiving!

I bought 4 of them and 4 reindeer's one for each of my great granddaughter's. I haven't given the Elf's to them yet. Bought them after Christmas, so I have to hold on to them for a year.. lol my great granddaughter's begged me to get them. I can't wait until I give them to my great grand daughter's. They are so cute I want one :).

The elf looks great and my son loves it. My only suggestion is that they should make the elves poseable, as they have a hard time getting into a creative pose, you have to open the seams and put in wires to make the antics look magically real. Otherwise, my children love to have it around.
