The First Years Quiet Expressions Double Electric Breast Pump

I never post reviews on anything- but after becoming very familiar with this pump over the last weeks and remembering how important reviews were to me when looking for one, I felt that I should write one. I really do think this pump is a good buy for the money spent. However, I think this pump is for stay at home Moms who need the occasional bottle when away from their baby or maybe even for a Mom who works part time. However, I work full time and am currently pumping 3-5 times/day to keep up with my 6 month old son and must say that this pump is not really sufficient for that use. I think it is really just too much for the pump itself. The company has been very easy to work with for replacement parts. I'm hoping it will get me to a year with my son and I plan to replace it for a better one with my next one. If you intend to pump a lot as I have to, you really can't go cheap on your pump. I have not had any problems what so ever with this! Its very quiet and discreet. The pumps work perfect with adjustable pumping settings.The silicone cups that cup your breast are not really form fitting.And the swivel bar cannot come off the pumps. It doesnt lock either so you have to be still when pumping or it moves. Very easy to clean and comes with a little designed bag so nobody knows what your carrying!

This is a great breast pump for the price. It is made of quality materials and has all you need to get started. The carrying case is stylish, durable and easy to clean material and overall it's all very lightweight and compact. It's also very quiet and perfect for using at the office. What I like most is that the pump remote looks really high end and functions well. The design of the bottles skews a bit more boyish with the blue, green, orange colors.

This pump is awesome! It is capable of recording your milk production! It comes with the tubing, the light weight handheld digital touchscreen pump that lights up, a cooler bag with hard plastic ice pack, a cute multi-compartment carrying tote, 2 sizes of silicone flanges, 2-5oz BreastFlow bottles with milk storage lids, instruction booklets and the handle for hassle free double pumping. I really love the fact that it's quiet, easy to assemble (even if you didn't have a instruction booklet), easy to clean, has a timer, it records your sessions and most importantly - you can control the speed and suction separately (I highly recommend a pump that offers these options). I have used a Medela (Medela Professional Symphony [hospital grade] and a Ameda (Ameda Elite [hospital grade], and a manual pump so I'm no rookie to using breast pumps! I'm not too fond of the medela hospital grade because you can't control it and it just pulls on your breasts. Ameda does a wonderful job but I still love this pump better than any I have tried. The #2 size of the flanges fit just fine they are comfortable and I have a 40DD sized breast. (Just be sure to position your nipples in the middle of the flanges properly - but that shouldn't be a problem). I don't turn the suction up all the way - I keep it at about a 6 and the speed stays at a 1. Slow and steady does it. Don't rush it and you shouldn't have any problem maximizing your milk production. I don't have any problems with it at all. Oh, please note that this pump only goes with the BreastFlow bottles (made by First Years as well) only.

I am a working and breastfeeding mom so having a breast pump it's a most this one it's perfect for me it's very easy to use and clean it can be used as a single or double pump it's quiet compared to other pumps but not silent I love the bag it comes with it doesn't look like a breast pump bag and it's all one color. It comes with the most adorable bottles this is a must have product for nursing moms

We were delighted with this product from the first sight of it. It has a very attractive, smooth appearance. The pump has a solid, compact and pleasing feel. All the parts are smooth and easy to clean. It is convenient to use anywhere: in the hospital or at home or work, as it operates on batteries or with the plug-in adapter on household current. It is very quiet and comfortable in operation, with 8 suction settings for comfort and efficiency. The nipples on the 2 included bottles are shaped the same as the pacifiers most commonly used in hospitals, so are easy for babies to adapt to. It comes with a nice, discreet carrying bag, so only the mom needs to know what is in it. Finally, this machine may be used to pump one breast while baby is nursing from the other or pump both breasts at once while away from baby. We received the product from the Spark Reviewer program several months in advance of our actual need for it, so didn't test in in real use over a period of time. However, the machine appears sturdy and easy to maintain with proper cleaning and storage.

First off this pump comes with an adorable bag that looks like a purse and isn't big & bulky. It also has the rechargeable battery pack and has a plug in for the wall to charge the battery. The battery lasts me days without charging which is nice for car rides or vacations. It has 8 pumping settings and and you don't hear anything til the 7th and 8th and when you get to those settings you don't hear much just a very light sound. It comes with 2 bottles and they're very cute not just plain like most other pumps come with. You can only use gum drop bottles with it so if your little one doesn't use gumdrop you'll either have to put the milk in a different bottle or a milk bag & freeze it. I'm a stay home mom so I jut pumped it and froze it for when needed so this wasn't a huge deal for me. The suction cups are very soft and comfortable they don't make you feel tender or anything after pumping. The handle is nice so you only need one hand to double pump but I find it a little awkward to do anything else while I'm holding a pump with one hand. Over all I would highly recommend this pump over other brands

I have tried three breast pumps which is not a lot but i truly can say that i prefer this one , i have tried the medela which was the one i was currently using and i didn't quite like it because it doesn't have that much power too it and i mean fir the $300 dollars i paid for it i would of expected more from it and also it has way too many extra parts you have to purchase and it takes for ever to put together and the to take apart to clean but not the first years quiet expression double breast pump , i love this pump , the price is great and i has way more power then the medela pumps and i love that it has not one or two but 8 levels of power so you can pump at a level on which you feel comfortable at and this breast pump doesn't have a whole lot of pieces that you have to be cleaning every time you use , it is very simple to put together and to clean and it comes with a very cute bag you can take with you every where you go because the pump can be used with batteries or you can plug it to the wall and its a very small but powerful pump, people don't even know i have it with me because it's so small and also because the bag it comes with is so discrete so i don't have to feel embarrassed when i go out with it and also not even my husband notices when I'm pumping in my babies room since this pump is so quiet not even i can hear it that much, you have to pay a lot of attention to be able to hear the noise so i really recommend this pump and like i said the price is great and and i works better then the more expensive pumps so if your looking for a pump for you i say give it a try you'll love it and if you get it as a baby shower gift or just as a gift for a friend i guarantee they will love your gift

The first thing I noticed about this is how small it is. The motor fits in your hand which I love. This is very easy to carry with you. The double pump also comes with a cute carrying bag. The pump fits the Breastflow bottles which makes it easy because you can pump right into the bottle so there is less moving the milk from container to container. When I tried the pump, I found it was super easy to use because it comes with a handle that connects to both parts of the pump so that you can pump both sides but only have to hold the pump with one hand. I would say the pump is fairly quiet. The suction and strength of the motor were fine, same as other high priced pumps I've used in the past. This pump also has the ability to be battery operated so you can take it with and pump anywhere. Takes AA batteries or can plug into electrical. The cost of this pump is affordable compared to many other brands of pumps. It's Lightweight and compact which makes it super convenient! Overall, I would definitely purchase this pump to use daily or to even keep as a backup.

I really wanted to give it a 5 star I really did, because of how light weight it is and small it's good for traveling, its packed neatly nothing came broken, it came with a travel bag, it comes with a plug and you can also put batteries in it. you can also unattach it from that t holder (sorry but I don't know the name for it) and buy one of the breast pumping bra and it'll become hands free. It comes with soft silicone breast shield, this is my first electric breast pump and it was free that's another reason why I wanted to give it a good review, BUT it hardly have ANY suction I put it in high and I felt such little suction, NOTHING compere to a manual one. the bottles used for pumping does comes with their lids so you can give the milk to you baby straight from the bottle, and I have to say they're wonderful it helps with colic babies I personally don't have any problems. I must say it's not worth the money it really isn't
