poor quality of materials
Game is still fun, but the over quality of the materials is just not what it used to be. The spinner constantly flubs even after putting a drop of oil on the pin. This gets frustrating when trinng to play. Also the buildings don't stay put any more. It seems like more time is spent trying to fix things rather than actually playing the game.

Life Game-Too Modern
I wanted to say that I really wish the Life Game would go back to it's original version as I find this new one is missing a lot of the old features ie) the Cards for house/jobs etc are not very descriptive and prices are unruly 600,000 for a house as an example ...just wish it had of been left alone...it wasn't broke so leave it...too modernized...but hey none the less I still love the game of Life!

Not what is pictured
I bought this item to play with my niece and nephew. This is definitely not an updated version of The Game of Life, it's a whole new version. There are no life tiles (pictured for game but not actually included) anymore, now you get actions cards which are ok. There isn't any insurance options now and there is less math for loan interest and less opportunities to learn. It is an alright simple kid version if that is what you are looking for, if you want the original don't buy this.
