The Good Stuff Shampoo Gentle Sulfate Free, 7.7 oz

I struggled with whether to provide a 4 or 5 star review. Since ultimately my only complaint is a result of me being accustomed to shampoos that lather and not with the excellent end result, I settled on 5. We have hard well water with minerals that cling to my hair and leave a waxy residue. Shampoos formulated for hard water have been harsh on my hair, leaving it dull and brittle. I first tried Good Stuff repair balm and loved it, so took a shot on the shampoo. Some reviewers complained about the strong smell. I'm usually sensitive to odors but found it far less fragrant than most other shampoos. My biggest challenge is that I'm accustomed to a shampoo lathering up. At first I thought it wasn't working, but after rinsing I could tell my hair was clean, and even felt free of the mineral residue. The hardest thing is to avoid the temptation to use a large amount since it doesn't lather well. The normal amount, massaged through the hair works just fine. After a month topping it off with Good Stuff leave-in balm or conditioners, my hair is regaining its former shine and body. Great product; I highly recommend!

The good stuff shampoo is light, airy, and cleans my hair so wonderfully without weighing it down. Talk about volume! Probably for the first time in my life - from just shampoo. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I do use shampoo, I try to keep it to a minimum because it often dries out my hair (curly, dry, fine). Im always willing to try a new shampoo though, so Im glad that Influenster sent me this complimentary bottle to try (all thoughts are still my own). My hair felt very clean afterwards, but didnt feel dry and didnt have any leftover residue. Its sulfate-free, which helps! It has a great scent (very clean, beach smell), but it wasnt overwhelming. You also cannot beat the price and that is easily accessible at Target. Not to mention, the packaging is so nice! It looks higher end and modern, which I love. Im excited to use it more!

This shampoo is the most amazing shampoo I have ever used on my hair! The conditioner works wonders as well! I can even combine conditioners to tame my wild hair and it doesn't leave my hair heavy or greasy!

I was excited to hear that I was getting this shampoo and conditioner and it did not disappoint. My new years resolution was to take better care of my previously damaged hair so when I seen this vox box I couldnt wait! I used this product and automatically seen a difference in my hair. Since using this product my hair is so soft, no longer frizzy, and looks so luscious. It makes your hair smell so clean and feel so fresh. If you are wanting a nice health shampoo this is the one I have no complaints!

I've been using this shampoo for about 8 months now, and I love it. I like the smell, and, contrary to other reviews, I don't think it's too strong. My boyfriend likes the scent as well, but he only notices it when I'm freshly showered. My only complaint is that sometimes, I feel like I need to shampoo twice, but I think that's more a flaw of the leave-in conditioner (the color protective milk) that tends to make my hair a little greasy sometimes if I use more than like.. half a dime-sized amount (my hair is jaw-length). I also really wish this came in a bigger bottle because I have had to buy shampoo about every 2 months, but I still have a ton of conditioner from when I first bought it 8 months ago!

Use just a small bit and lathers good, gentle indeed for my fine- prone to easily fall out hair, smells really good

This does not lather up well at all, I had to use twice as much as I would for my regular shampoo to even get a little lather! The scent is pretty neutral, nothing too fancy but still clean smelling. I like the design of the bottle, very modern feeling. However, this left my hair feeling brittle and dry. My hair is already thin and this didn't help. I wash my hair twice a week and this wasn't bad. I will finish using the bottle, but I would not go out and buy this. Even with the leave in foam conditioner, I prefer my regular routine over this.

I really want to love this product. Im looking for ways to minimize in my life so eliminating the need for rinse off conditioners (which I go through fast) sounds awesome. Ive been using it for a week now, while Im happy with the way the shampoo cleans my hair, the smell is overwhelmingly strong. I thought maybe Id adjust but the perfume is so heavy it lingers all day. Even if I found the scent pleasant, there is no need for any shampoo to have a scent this strong. It will definitely compete with other fragrances if you wear them.

I bought this shampoo a week ago along with the frizz control oil. The shampoo is very hard to lather and get a good clean. My hair is very thick and wavy, when I get in the shower I can right away feel it weighed down and heavy. It takes me two washes for my hair to feel cleaned. I like the frizz control oil but not the shampoo, it should be a cream texture instead of a gel and maybe it would work better
