what I like about it is the scent, but the lathering left to be expected. I felt like I had used too much to get some leather going. and my hair is not very long at all. I also thought that this was a shampoo and conditioner. my bad. so I will also try the conditioner. I have used the pine bark and tar soap for a while and I wanted to try the shampoo great scent as far as the money for the value I think it could be a little bit better priced.
a scent I have never ever smelled before and one I love. I am a huge fan of sitting around a camp fire any chance I get, Love the smell and this shampoo smells exactly like that to me. Its clear which is good, no dangerous dies for color. Lathers up nice like any other shampoo. My hair is very clean along with my scalp. I have dry hair and skin which left me feeling hydrated on my scalp and not dry or itchy. Volume is great. Grandpa Soap co has some others that I want to mention that I have used too. Witch Hazel , Buttermilk and Rosemary. They also have conditioner but I dont use that. The Pine Tar is Bobby approved!
My husband has been using it for years. He says it helps his scalp health. Contains pine tar and tea tree oil.
This works well for scalp conditions like psoriasis. It does have a pine smell (like when you are out camping). It does not smell as bad as coal tar shampoo.
I use it on my dogs for fleas and ticks. Works great.
Used the shampoo and conditioner for the first time. The difference is unbelievable. I've used Grandpa Pine Tar Soap for a few years now, so I thought I would try the shampoo and conditioner. My hair is much softer and feels healthier. Sometimes my scalp gets a little dry in the winter, so I'll see what happens. Both are five-star products.
The thing that I dislike is the fragrance. It is like wood smoke after the fire has burned down. That might be fine for a man. I will say that it does help with the problem with my hair.
Good stuff.
The smell on your hair last way too long
I'd recommend purchasing it somewhere else, Walmart simply couldn't get the job done of handling a 1 8 oz bottle for delivery what a joke of a establishment
