This suitcase is a true Home Edit quality product. The deep navy color is beautiful. The wheels glide effortlessly! Thoughtful pockets everywhere and an included, expandable oversized bag. And the zippers pulls seem to be better quality than my TravelPro (those are all ripped off from the airlines). As a 58 year old woman who traveled for work, this is a great suitcase.
This carry on rolled smoothly through the airport and on flat surfaces. It's pretty sturdy, it did get scuffed up when I had to gate check it, but it held up. If you're on the short side it can be hard to get into an overhead bin, another passenger helped me. It did take up almost the entirety of the bin and had to be placed sideways instead of wheels first.
This is very thin and flexible. It got lots of very visible scratches and some dents on the first travel. Its so flexible that i was able to just push the corner dent back out. I am afraid this might not stand another travel but we will see. I did purchase insurance for this to be able to replace it if it can't stand another trip.
So upset as the duffle is NOT PICTURED! You get basically a large packing cube, short handles, no strap, no bottom zipper as shown. So disappointing as the suitcase itself is nice but the duffle sucks. Again, it's a large packing cube so if you want a duffle bag to match the hard side don't get this.
This luggage is so beautiful, the purple color is everything! It is sturdy and the wheels are great. However, it does not fit current carry-on regulation size for airlines like Jet Blue, Delta or American. It's too much of a hassle to hope you don't get caught while boarding and have to check your luggage. So, if you need it for this purpose, get something smaller. If they could make this smaller, it would be fantastic!
This is a nice suitcase, however it is not carry-on size. The dimensions including wheels are 23" by 15" by 11". These dimensions are bigger than airline standards. You would definitely not be able to use this on a European flight. I will keep it, but not use it as I had planned.
Love the look. I got plenty of compliments on the suitcase. The bag that comes with it is a little flimsy, no real pockets or anything, but I made it work. Keep in mind that this "carry on" will be a little too tall for some airlines. It does not roll effortlessly on carpets. I had to pull the suitcase, old school style, once in the hotel and on carpeted areas. All in all it was a great value for the price paid.
The color is beautiful. I appreciate the extra garment bag too. The inside is nice. The quality is more plastic than hardshell. I only took it in and out of an Uber, and there's already a scuff. The straps don't seem sturdy. It's hard to maneuver too.. I can't recommend. I'll probably end up using it for storage or quick trips. I doubt it would stand up to sn airport beating.
*NOT 21 INCHES*!! I bought this to replace my carry on suitcase. I fly regularly and my old one was worn through. I unfortunately didn't realize until I was enroute somewhere that this suitcase is not 21 inches. With wheels, the suitcase is 23" , which is one inch too big for cabin luggage on most airlines. seriously??? who designs a suitcase (and describes it as "21 inch suitcase ") that can't be used on most airlines? Two stars just because it's a pretty solid suitcase and would probably hold up to significant use.... unfortunately, I can't use it unless I decide to check a bag (in which case, I'd probably use a full sized suitcase to get all the space I'm paying for). Terrible suitcase if you're team carry-on only.
This luggage is so cheaply made. It is unfortunate because it is gorgeous and a great size carry-on (and it expands too!). Upon receiving it, I could tell the exterior was cheaply made and that I shouldn't check it in to the airlines. However, I didn't expect it to get a crack immediately upon loading it in my trunk on the way to the airport. On one short trip, the crack grew and the wheel broke off. Again, it is a shame because it is such a gorgeous piece of luggage.
