The Jungle Book 40th Anniversary Edition (Widescreen) (DVD)

I purchased this rare item for my 6-year old son and I to view and read together. We started reading it yesterday and I love the way the book feels. It feels like it has a layer of padding in between the laminated covers (front and back) that makes it feel sturdy but rich as well. We have not watched the DVD yet but I have seen some of the excerpts on line and I loved them. I remember seeing this movie vaguely when I was a child so it will feel like brand new to me since it has been about 30 years since I have seen it. It's a great buy for both the book and DVD.

I liked it. It's exactly what you wanted, the movie. :)

Its a very enteraining movie kids love it.

We wore out the VHS version of this movie and were happy to see the DVD version and brightened up the colors. Same great movie, but lighter and brighter.

This is for my son's 2nd birthday. I can't wait for him to see it. Looked in several different stores but they didn't have it because Disney is discontinuing. So glad I found it online!!

i like it ..specaily with the new picture it look so clear....and it is a great story..with their song...shoul own it.

I have been collecting Disney's animated classics for years and the Jungle Book is at the top of my list. The Platinum edition certainly exceded my expectations. This 2 disc edition is beautifully restored and looks great. The bonus featutes give a wonderful insight of the making of the movie. I found this very informative and educational. I higly reccomend this animated movie for all ages.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Disney movies..., I am making it a goal to buy each and every one as they come out on DVD. I love the classic movies even more!!!!! They are the ones who started it all, including this one!!! Plus my children love it and they have to read the book on it as well!!!

I bought this item for my child for Christmas and as he has not seen it yet but the process of getting the movie was GREAT!! It was sooo convenient to pick up at the store I had no lines to wait in and the service was very nice. There was a special seed for me and my child to plant togetherThat was included with the movie, that we will plant when the drought is over. That in itself was an awesome extra. Thank you. I would definitly recommend that everyone gets this movie(one of my all time favs)and orders it site to store if possible.

i was sent the wrong book. refunded at the store. asked for a response from seller, they never responded
