The Little House Box Set

This is a beloved series. As a child, Laura Ingalls Wilder books helped me develop a love of reading. Years later, I became a teacher and for 30 years I read this entire series to my students. Now, whenever I am invited to a baby shower this is always my go to "book" gift. I usually purchase Charlotte, Laura's rag doll as an extra gift.

I bought these books for my 10 year old and my 8 year old daughters and they love them! These are great books and I read them as a child and was thrilled when I found this set at such a great price! I highly recommend these books.

Haven't had time to read the books yet. Actually plan to give them to my grandkids. As far as the books themselves, they shipped well and look absolutely fine. I'm sure the grandkids will enjoy them.

Nice set of books. I can't wait to finish all of them. I had expected them to be in order written but that is okay. I loved them anyway. I looked online to see which was in order written.

Little girls seem to love books about horses, country life and girls their age. So my nieces loved this set of LHOTP books, the complete Little House works of Laura Ingalls Wilder. They took out each book and set them out in order to say which one they wanted to read first. We took the first book of the set and read with smiles and laughter erupting as we enjoyed several chapters. Nice illustrations complemented the text. A silver horse-shaped bookmark was proudly placed in the book for the next reading after we finished. Easy to order and quick shipping.

This is more on Walmart. Books great a little over $4 a book but Walmart sucks on their shipping practices. Who ships books in an envelope to be tossed around and damaged before arrival. The box holder for the books is damaged. For $42 it shouldn't be. Typical incompetence of people today.

When I ordered this set of books the product description said that they were hardcover and when I receive them, they were paperback. $40 seems expensive for a set of paperback.

This item is torn and bashed in on all sides. I bought and paid for a new item, and you sent a used and abused item that is not gift-worthy whatsoever. This is disgusting treatment of books and of your customers. You should be utterly ashamed, but I don't think you're capable of shame.

I bought this set for a gift because it is specifically listed as being Hardback. Granddaughter was anxious to get them as she loves to read but this was also to be part of her classic book collection.

The series is fantastic, the reason for the 1 star is the listing specified a hardcover book set and it's just paperback.
