The Luxury Cotton Rich Original Bed Bug Blocker, All-In-One Collection

We just purchased new mattresses and needed new mattress covers. For just a few dollars more than the cost of conventional covers, I was able to buy these bed bug blocker zippered mattress protectors. I'm fairly certain that we don't have bed bugs, but we do have dust mites and with this zippered mattress cover I can preserve the cleanliness of the mattresses. It was quick and easy for one person (a very senior woman) to install. The covers are a bit large for the pillow top mattresses, but I would rather have them too large than to place strain on the seams and zipper.

Seems to be a quality product. I had no problem getting it over my brand new eleven inch full sized mattress. Some reviews mentioned a weak zipper that might break easy but mine gave me no problems. The top and bottom fabric composition are different which might matter to some people if you flip your mattress periodically, which I do. I have never really had problems with bugs, I live up north. I bought it mainly to keep it cleaner longer. By the way I purchased another, cheaper Walmart cover to put over my box springs. It is sort of vinyl like a shower curtain. it's large enough to fit any mattress and that makes it very easy to set up, had past experiences with other protectors that were too tight and had to hustle the mattress to get it in, not with this one, if you do it as instructed it will be really easy even for a single person.

The All-in-One cotton rich mattress protectors (red label) are sturdily made, smooth to the touch, and a good fit for thick or thin mattresses. Inside the zipper is a Velcro closure for extra security. It takes two people to insert a mattress into the mattress protector, which opens and then zips shut at one end. We stood each mattress on end and pulled the protector over it from the top end. We took our time, and the protectors didn't tear during the process.

I put this on a 13" queen mattress and was pleased how it fit. The Velcro closure is a nice touch but kind of a pain. You have to pay attention to which side is up, I don't think the bottom is waterproof but the top is a nice polyester coated with a waterproof backing that makes no noise. Good quality.

I was to go for some medical testing and this saved my mattress. When prepping for the testing, I was not happy the morning of the testing. I had made a mess of the sheets. I was however pleasantly surprised to find the mess had been stopped at the protector. I'd rather need to buy another protector than a new mattress. This mattress cover did its job well!!

We used this protector in a spare bedroom (just in case). After reading reviews, I decided to go with this product. We are very happy with the quality of the construction. The zipper didn't seem to be very fragile, however, we did have 2 people to install it easing any stress on the zipper. (the reviews warned about this). The cover is very roomy and will probably fit any depth of mattress. It seems to be a great product especially for the price. We plan on purchasing additional ones for all the beds in our beach house. We get lots of company and the thought of hitchhiking bedbugs just freaks me out.

Love the double barrier but have to worn u about the velcro on the inside of the zipper...it is a great feature to keep things out but it kept catching and pulling on our new memory foam mattress....Love the feel of the cover and it's not plastic feeling like others we have had!! Also we have had others that fill up with air and cause a bubble and this one doesnt. As always I think all of these types of covers are over priced but nice that u can keep washing them and reusing for a bit.

It tears very easily. I bought the "Allergen" brand a few weeks ago in-store and it was torn when we tried to put it on the mattress. I ordered this online hoping the material would be very strong, yes it is far better than the Allergen but it is still delicate. I like the elasticity of the material though.

As we were trying to put the cover on our 12 inch mattress the bag ripped at the end of the opening where the zipper and Velcro meet. We decided to use the cover anyway and once we got it all on and tried to zip,it up the zipper came off. So now we can't take it off without ruining the bag. Would not recommend unless they beef up seams..
