an excellent shout factory releas
shout factory has released an excellent 4k of one of the best westerns! the magnificent 7 is a classic movie and has been respectfully handled here with tastefull hdr that is not overcooked but is also not too mild. specular highlights and colors have punch but are not over bright and saturated like some releases. the disc is competently encoded and grain is handled well without any noise reduction.

Most Magnificent It's Ever Looked
To see this movie in 4K is truly something special. Having owned it on several other formats, I can say that the quality has never been better. Watching such a perfect version of the film makes it feel bigger, like the wide open plains, and more intense, where the power of the acting can be observed in finer detail. Yul Brynner's commanding presence is something to behold; but after seeing him recently in West World again, it's hard not to think of him sometimes as a cyborg cowboy gone awry. Nevertheless, it's one of my favorite westerns.

4K disc came loose and no slip cover
This movie is a remake of Seven Samurai. Got this shout select Mag Seven with no slip cover (if it's important to you ). 4K disc inside came loose
