THE NORTH FACE Base Camp Duffel—XS

I always wanted this one, size and shape is perfect to use it as personal item in flights or for camping, material looks so durable and resistant. I wanted it so much and I'm loving it!

The material feels durable and reliable. The main zipper is a little hard to open, maybe because it's new? I'm not sure. But has great straps and pockets. Just the size for 10 days of clothes for a guy.

Great bag to stash everything on a day trip or heading to the gym. The backpack/hand carry option is convenient for flying. That bumblebee color combo is the gravy on top for this perfect sized bag for everyday activities.

I now have the S which is perfect for camping and small trips and now the XS for weekend trips and a gym bag. Waterproof and sleek look is going to last a long time!

Perfect fit for gym. Recently got the size S but I feel was to big or have extra space that I was not using but not with this XS I think everything hits perfectly. It could work for a weekend trip too. Just missing the side straps that the other's ones have. 5 ⭐️

Love this thing. Super sturdy and perfect personal item size for the plane. I have a larger base camp duffle that's been going strong for over 15 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't think it gets better than this thing here. I'm super rough with my bags and refuse to purchase proper luggage for traveling. I can stuff 5 days of clothes and toiletries in here or enough photo gear for a backcountry day trip.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The material is phenomenal. I purchased the XS and it's perfect carry-on size & convenient/comfortable for all day wear. I purchased one for myself and have referred so many people to this bag! The yellow is beautiful, I wish there had been more color options available I would've bought more than 1!

I bought this bag because I fly a lot and the XS is the perfect "personal item" size for airplanes. I'm cheap, I mean, frugal, so I try to avoid checking a bag whenever possible. And now that some airlines charge for carryon bags, I have to have a good-sized personal item bag that's easy to carry and won't get questioned as I'm trying to bring all I can without paying extra. I can fill it up and carry it like a backpack (even though it's so much bigger than a backpack!), so I'm not hunched over while walking through the airport or whacking someone as I walk down the aisle to my seat, as I would a regular duffle bag. This bag is pretty much life proof, which means I can carry it through the rain and toss it in the back of a van without worrying about destroying it. The Moab camo color is perfect for standing out without being over the top, and the bag's design doesn't make me look like a backpacker (although I'm sure it could be used for that, too!).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quality bag but - for the money, my use (gym bag), and IMO a defect - it wasn't worth keeping. My issues with it are: 1) the shoulder strap bands feed through the "buckle" that allows you to tighten or loosen the straps in an upward instead of downward fashion, 2) it fits awkwardly as a backpack and 3) there's no single strap to interchange in case you want to sling it over your shoulder. Like I said, it's a quality bag, just needs some design improvements.
