The quality, the comfort, the capacity, the structure. WOW. I always love north face products because they last 10+ years with heavy use. BUT THIS??? I got it for my New York City trip, wanted it to be comfy to trek with miles, hit subway trains, without theft. And it DID the job. My friend and I shared this bag and a backpack for 7 days and it was perfect. Also fit in the overhead as a plane carry on— but even better when I was last on the flight with no over head room left IT FIT UNDER THE SEAT!!! Truly I'd spend even more on this bag it's so worth it, I know it'll last- one of my best splurges yet!
I use this bag as a gym bag where I can comfortably place all my work clothes for after the gym. And all toiletries. My laptop. This bag is amazing and 120% what I could have ever thought I would want from a bag. The backpack feature works perfectly for hauling after a good workout when you are too spent to lug a duffel bag.
My first impression was: "How did they make it fold within itself?" So lightweight and thoughtful. My favorite feature is the area for the shoes. I'm from Costa Rica and my boyfriend loved this as a birthday gift.
The North Face Voyager Duffel 62L has become one of those things I use ALL the time — I wouldn't swap it for anything. First: perfect capacity. The 62L hits that sweet spot where you can fit everything you need for several days without it becoming uncomfortable to carry. I use it for trips, training, getaways, and even day-to-day when I need to move a lot of stuff. Second: comfort. You can carry it as a duffel or wear it as a backpack, and that changes everything. When it's heavy, I just throw it on my back and go. Super practical. Third: durability. It's The North Face — and it shows. Tough materials, solid zippers, it handles bumps, travel, humidity… you don't have to treat it like it's fragile. Fourth: simple but functional organization. It doesn't have a million unnecessary compartments, but what it has is well designed. You can find everything quickly without wasting time. Bottom line: it's a bag I use a lot and it's never let me down. If you're looking for something versatile, durable, and comfortable to move around with, this is a great option. It's not just a bag… it's one of those things you end up using way more than you expected.
I am obsessed with this bag. I've been looking for a duffel bag that I was happy with for a long time. The first thing I fell in love with is the fact that it collapses into a small bag for storage. This is amazing. The pockets for storage all over the bag are so helpful for small items and shoes. The built in divider was great when I was traveling back and wanted to separate what I had worn and not worn. Excellent bag. Would definitely recommend!
Used this duffle on a short 3 day trip to South Korea, super convenient when you're short on time and want to avoid checking in your bags. I was able to fit a day and night outfit for each day, an extra pair of shoes, my flat iron, and extra storage for all my skin care cosmetics.
This bag is even better than I expected! So roomy, great material, and perfect for traveling. I could easily fit everything for a week long trip into this bag. Will be using for weekend roadtrips as well. So versatile. Love the backpack option. Perfect size!
Purchased this duffel for a safari in Africa. We had our main luggage at a base and used this for 2-3 day safari camps. It worked great to get on and off small planes and vehicles. The only reason I am not 5 star is that I think this could be a 50L bag.
The bag itself is sturdy and made of a solid material. The carrying straps are nice, and the backpack straps are handy. The zipper was easy to use. I love the color. It is easy to spot when picking up your luggage at the airport. My only complaints are that it is smaller than I expected and that there should be a way to close the backpack strap pocket. Either by a zipper or Velcro.
Very good bag. Two recommendations: 1.) wish there was a zipper to keep backpack (shoulder straps) 100% contained when put away. 2.) use the stronger material of original base camp
