The North Face Basin 24 Nylon Ripstop Backpack, Dark Blue

I'm a 5' 9" and it fits me great. I run with this pack sometimes, and it's been great for day hikes. Big enough to fit my things + extra items for friends/family and my dog. I love how sleek it is, and I appreciate the rain fly built into it. I have the larger Basin model as well, and this feels similar in storage space even though it's 8L smaller than my larger Basin model.

Multiple pockets for small items like gloves and keys, water bottle holders on both sides, straps for those "extras", and a spacious main compartment. There's also a slip-in compartment appropriate for a laptop. It's also quite lightweight. However, the best part is that this backpack slips on and off easily, doesn't snag, whether fully loaded or practically empty.

This is my everyday work bag, love it! This is a replacement bag for my original North Face. Customer service was excellent! They honored my old bag and gave me a gift card so that I can purchase my new North Face bag. I would recommend everyone to get this bag! Great company! Excellent pack that contains enough details but minimalist enough to not be excessive. Supportive details such as a chest and waist strap. There is a pullover shell that nicely stows. One minor detail is that the bladder compartment is open where it slides down. Some closing mechanism such as a zipper or Velcro might be considered.

This is honestly the best backpack for urban use. It's just big enough to hold all the things I need like my laptop a change of clothes and my water bottles along with a hydration bladder. This is my first time reviewing any product but I had to let the people know this is a perfect smaller sized backpack.

This bag is the perfect size. I use it for Hiking and Skiing. Holds a good amount of extra clothes and the water bladder space is good size. Extra straps are helpful in keeping the bag on your back. Slim and light weight was what I needed and that's what I got.

After searching for a high-quality hiking backpack, I came across this new product from North face. It looks beautiful, but don't let that for you as it's very durable. It has room for a water bladder, and room for anything else you need on a long days hike, with a few extra features added.

Have only used it on one hike so far but was really impressed with the comfort during the 9 miles I've put on it so far. There's tons of space and super deep pockets. I also love that there is a separate spot just to throw my hydration bladder into away from the main compartment. All in all a great bag so far.

The Basin 24 is roomy for just enough items, and doesn't have the extra bulk. I have Recons (30L) for when I want to (potentially) carry more items. I wish the smaller pocket had a few divisions/pockets, so everything doesn't rattle around. And the side straps get in the way of fully unzipping the main compartment, so you have to loosen the straps or maneuver around them. If these two items weren't issues for me, then I would give it five stars.

Used for any day trips to outdoor sporting events. The backpack with rain cover helps with any weather elements. I wish Northface to add 2 more small pockets to this bag which I can store cell phone, wallet, energy bars separatedly. Thus I give the 4 star instead of 5.
