I've taken my North Face Jester Backpack everywhere - school, the gym, weekend trips, hikes, and even spontaneous getaways. And every time, it proves why it's in a league of its own. This backpack isn't just a bag, I would say it's a reliable partner. The smart design holds everything I need, from my laptop and books during classes to gym clothes and water bottles after. The bungee cord system on the front is surprisingly useful and the FlexVent suspension makes carrying it comfortable even when it's fully loaded. I've thrown it in overhead bins, under bus seats, and even on rough terrain - and it still looks practically new. The durability is insane. Zippers glide like butter, the structure holds firm, and not a single loose thread in sight. What I love most? It's versatile. Whether I'm heading to a lecture or catching a flight, the Jester has never let me down. The North Face didn't just design a backpack - they designed a lifestyle essential. If I had to conclude it in one sentence, trust me, once you go Jester, you won't go back.
I'm a commuter in D.C. via metro, biking, & walking- rain or shine. I needed to upgrade my favorite osprey bag as it lived a long 7 years. I figured an upgrade to a larger backpack would suit my needs best. The Jester backpack is AMAZING! I appreciate the color as well; everyone seems to have black backpacks, but this helps my team and friends locate me a but easier in crowds. The many pockets help to keep things organized & the straps are SO comfortable! I didn't realize my previous backpack was uncomfortable with the weight until I switched, no pressure cutting into my traps & a little bit of ventilation to my back in the heat. Highly recommend the Jester backpack!!
Bought this for my daughter after her previous North Face backpack straps both broke. This one seems to be of better construction and she is very happy with it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The jester bag is an amazing super durable bag that I love for school, it looks amazing and functions very well, super smooth zippers and some other great feature. But, there are some that I wish it had like a rubber bottom to keep it from slipping of surfaces and they definitely could have fit a extra pocket in it I don't know why they didn't. Other than thoes things, AMAZING BAG!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter says she likes it but wishes there was another pocket because the back pocket is kind of deep and then if you put stuff in the front pocket it's hard to get to the bottom of the back pocket but it's really nice it fits all her stuff.
This backpack is awesome for elementary, and middle school, but once I got to high school, I realized it was a bit small to carry all of my things I needed. (laptop, binders, books, etc.) However, I've had mine for three years and it has lasted great! No hole or tears!
I brought a grey one and I love it. There are only 2 pockets, 1 big one and inside has small space for your laptop and 1 small one for your pencils and calculator. I wish that there were more pockets but overall I really like it. Try taking a picture with flash... super cool
My son loved this backpack. I did not. It was way too small for all his stuff and cost so much money. He wanted to keep it for day hikes, but it really won't hold much.
The backpack is good in terms of support. However, the zipper in the main compartment does not open wide enough making it difficult to put folders or binders in it. It would also have been better if it had pockets in the front strap for metro cards, phones etc. for easier accessibility.
The backpack was lost in transit, and TNF did not communicate what was happening with my order for a few weeks. I had to reach out to support for information on what was happening and they ended up giving me a full refund. Support was quick enough however I am not sure I would have ever received a product or refund if I did not reach out.
