It's very light weight which makes it perfect for holding my heavy books, it doesn't add weight to make my load even heavier. The dual water bottle holders is extremely handy. It could use a Pencil holder at the top next to the handle. Overall this backpack was well worth ever penny!

The North Face Pivoter is the most comfortable backpack I have ever purchased, exceeds the comfort of Nike performance backpacks. The "D-Door" pocket is roomy and the organizational pockets by the laptop sleeve are great for school. Upon first impression I thought the Pivoter was small but the space it provides plus the FlexVent technology are an amazing combination. Padding is exceptional. Do not hesitate purchasing this backpack.

One of the better backpacks that I have had. Super comfy has a compartment that was quite deceiving in how big it was. Quite pleased with it and for the the price I thought it was a steal. Everyone knows if you want a quality backpack you gotta go North Face.

I've had a wasatch for 18 years. It's starting to bug me with the zipper getting caught all the time. Plus, after that long it's time for a new bag. This one might be a bit small for most people. There are 3 main sections. I use the bag for carrying work papers, diaper bag and it's my purse. I don't think it'd be big enough to haul a laptop though.

We purchased this backpack for our son for school (Senior in High School)! Very roomy - perfect for his tablet and all school binders/books. We also travel a lot and it's great for a weekend get-a-way (he will certainly take it to college next year)!

I use this backpack for school and it's great. The last backpack I used before this didn't provide much support for my back or my shoulders and I don't have any pain after using this bag all day. It has room for all my books, tablet, folders, supplies, etc and it I would definitely recommend it to anyone who was looking for a new backpack.

Great backpack that offers plenty of room. I use it to carry my 13" MacBook Pro laptop around school. Carrying the laptop, I still have plenty of space to put things such as books and other knick-knacks. Overall, great design, color scheme, and practicality.

This is good for packing for a weekend, but it is too small for all of my son's books. The front pocket zips almost all the way around, but is awkward to fit a binder in. Laptop fits nicely in the back, though. As long as you are not looking to fit a bunch of text books or binders in it, it is a very nice backpack.

I use this backpack for college. It holds everything I need to use during the whole day including my computer iPad books notebooks pens pencils and the backpack can hold more if I had to add to it. It was a great choice. No problems with this and I have been using it three weeks. I cannot complain.

The backpack was a bit smaller than I had anticipated. As a result, it felt weird on my back. It's probably a great gear for people who carry minimal things, not so much for students or athletes who have many things to transport. However, the quality remains impeccable. One thing I'd recommend is working on the shoulder straps and making them a bit bigger/supportive of the increased weight of the backpack as more stuff are put inside of it.
