I'm a climber, backpacker , kayaker, and snowshoer and always looking for a piece that adds benefit to my layering choice. This fleece is a 5 star choice. Minimal weight, fantastic warmth to weight ratio and great breathability. The fit is spot on. I'm 5' 11" , 175 lb with a fit build.Medium is perfect- not to tight but slim fit for effective layering. Nice length in the arms and at the hem. Works as a stand alone when it's cool if it isn't to windy. Highly recommend!

High quality, lightweight, and most importantly perfect fit. Recently took this backpacking, and this is the perfect mid-layer for active hiking due to it's highly breathable contruction. Warmth was ideal, and to be expected for the weight. The cut and body fit was perfect for me, including the hood. Ordered size Small, 5'7" 150 lbs, male.

Honestly exceeded expectations. The fit is perfect—not boxy, not tight, just clean and flattering. Super comfortable right out of the box and holds its shape all day. I actually use this hoodie for when I go out to run. It is awesome. Light weight, breathable and to be honest don't need to layup too much on a chilly morning.

Light weight, perfectly layers by itself or under a warmer coat. i wish there were more color options.

I plan to use this fleece for hiking and backpacking in cool to cold weather. It is true to size, comfortable against the skin, breathes extremely well and has just enough warmth for a shoulder season mid and active layer.

Preparing for the winter season. I saw this on Chris hemsworth on his new show limitless live better now and loved that color so I decided to pick that color up and it looks amazing. Love the summit collection.

This is a brief review of the "Men's Summit Series FUTUREFLEECE™ Full-Zip Hoodie" which i ordered online. a) beautifully made and fleece all throughout ; nicely molded for me - i ordered 2XL and I'm 6'1. It fits like a "slim fit jacket" or more like a loose-fit shirt (not like a overcoat/jacket). Surprisingly, though, this 'fleece jacket' is vvvveeerrrrrryyy thin. You can literally see through it! This can be a great asset - but i bought it for winter and during winter season. So, i was surprised it seems to be light enough for summer wear. I LOVE that it's a full zip hoodie. Big PLUS for this. b) only downside - and a BIG MISS - one which i may return it - haven't worn it other than to "try it on". It literally has !!NO POCKETS!! inside or out (other than a small credit card sized wallet zip pocket on the chest. I do not, ever, buy a jacket that doesn't have pockets on the inside AND the outside...ever. There is no place to put your hands, keys, papers.. anything. It's literally non-functional save to take a walk carrying nothing but your wallet. So, there's that part. Nevertheless, I recommend this product - but only as long as you knew in advance what the website does not show or reveal: is extremely thin, has NO POCKETS save a chest pocket big enough for a credit card wallet only. If that can work for your needs, this 'jacket' is a big win. I don't normally send things back as i'm careful in selection. However, i only had the website information and the tiny pictures and very little detail information. So, if i send it back, this one i won't feel badly about - it was the extremely poor marketing on the website that provided so little information, i literally had to just 'take a chance it might be a good product.' Well, it's a very good product - beautiful product even...but not so good on its functionality.

When I purchased this product it really wasn't what I was searching for. I am sure it has an application that it suited for. Personally I didn't think it reflected the quality of product I received from North Face.
