Good story about a Nun's struggle to be the perfect nun, and taking care of her patients. Audrey Hepburn is superb as Sr. Luke. Story takes place just before World War II. Excellent cast. Great movie.

This is a wonderful movie. I first watched this in my younger years and have been hooked on it ever since. Watch it every Christmas season.

A women's struggle to become a nun
Great acting on all sides. Miss Hepburn fit the part like glue to wood. Personal experiance of just an average girl wanting to become a Catholic nun. The locations were changed from those in Europe to the Belgium Congo in early 1930's Africa. I found this movie quite exciting and very detailed as to what happens behind the walls of a Catholic Nunnery in any city you could name. How she handles her inner thoughts towards others is quite interesting, getting her in personal trouble at every turn. What she desides to do after much term oil, is what I would have done. leave the convent and go back to the real world. Everyone should have a copy of this movie. View it often, no regrets at all.
