Different than NYC Ballet
This was somewhat different in the way I am used to seeing NutCracker presented but I still enjoyed the performance.

Would not recommend this DVD
This video is low quality resolution and seems to have been filmed by an a beginner. The lighting on the stage is poor. Bought this because the 1988 Bolshoi Nutcracker is the best ever made by anybody for someone who loves ballet. Thought since this was the Bolshoi and appeared to have same costumes it would be OK. Well it wasn't anywhere near good. Do not buy, waste of money.
