This product is perfect for a beginner or an advanced painter. It's great for when you're on the go a lot and you don't have time to pack all your gear you throw this set and your purse and a little SketchBook and you're set! I got one for myself and loved it so much that I got it for my 90-year-old mother. She loves it!
It is wonderful and fast! I have other PAINTS of higher quality in small sets but this one is SOOOO good when you have limited time on site..Why? Because you simply have less mixing. SO if you want to do higher quality work, bring out you good stuff BUT THIS IT THE GOOD STUFF WHEN YOU NEED TO BE QUICK! LOVE IT FOR THAT!!! (if this review was more about other qualities other than my personal LOVE of it being so useful in a quick study, then ...not a many stars...but I value SO much the speed at times that I am indeed kavelling in its wonder, compactness and utilitarian "I ONLY NEED THIS" on site. Think "at the dog park in the drizzle" hahahha. If you REALLY want to know my FAVORITE watercolor sets....read some of the other reviews of compact sets! My favorite is.......................hee hee
This is wonderful little set! I originally bought a set that had 18 colors and fell in love with the whole palette. Finding this set of 42 even better! The only draw back that I have found is the lack of the names however I found them online from another store and there is a list of names. The the set was $10 more. I just ordered another set while I can find it :)
I saw these advertised on line but purchased them at Walmart from a third party seller. I actually bought them as a gift for someone else so can?t say anything about how well they perform, but the person I gave them to was very happy to get them. Shipping was fast and the item arrived in good condition.
Love hits! It fits right in my purse.
