Pacific based on true stories featuring 3 men. I found the stories spell binding. I believe the movie gives an accurate portrayal of what the war in the Pacific with the Japanese armies it was brutal and costly in American lives, the Japanese much more so

An old friend of mine, decorated DAV, suggested I watch this. Initially I was hesitant as this is not my normal genre. However, I was glad I did watch it. Amazing series that I am sure will have me watching it again in the future. For anyone on the fence, watch it.

This was a great miniseries. The cast was outstanding and it really showed you the triumphs and hardships of the war.

Really a great depiction of WW2 and primarily the Pacific Battles. Definitely a must have for any collection. Loads of History is detailed in this series. I'd definitely recommend this to any parent to supplement the History Education that their teen gets.

Pacific version of Saving Private Ryan.

we found this to be educational and the action never quit.

Hard to follow storyline for being second in trilogy it's the worst of bunch but I've only seen first two episodes i don't know if it would get better

It would be nice if dvd would play! Had difficulty getting disc's 1%262 to setup and play. Disc 3 is blank. Haven't tried the others. I've played other movies so I know it's not my player.
