Prior to trying this set from the period company I had only ever used Knix which can cost about 2x what the period company does. I cannot say enough about how well these work. Postpartum, when my periods have been really heavy, I could not find any products that keep me comfortable through the night until I tried these. Being postpartum is challenging enough without worrying about if your period products will keep you protected throughout the night, and I no longer have that concern with these. I highly recommend these to anyone who menstruates, I wish I had found them sooner.
Game changer for periods during the nighttime. I did size up to a 2X, usually wear XL in clothes. Never had a leak and don't have to worry about staying on my side while sleeping. Can't recommend enough!
they were perfect. nice and comfy, not too restricting when i was asleep. no weird bunching or anything either
love them perfect size me more like them definitely different colors please
Great but not for heavy days still need something else. Leak protection for heavy cycles. Would recommend!!!
Perfect for sleeping! Never have to wear a tampon or uncomfortable pads to bed, ever again!
These work great and you cannot beat the price.
I was trying to be open-minded as these had some amazing reviews, but wearing these confirmed it - I really dislike male-styled underwear! I thought it was a sizing issue, but it was simply a design problem. Why is there such a huge gap?! Women don't need banana hammocks. 🤔 As for the product itself, the materials felt good. The cotton is soft and stretchy. They reminded me of Spanx, so I was worried they'd be tight, but they actually fit well at the waist, hip, and thighs. It's designed for nighttime use, so maybe that's why they created such a large crotch gap? You know, so women can freely move as they sleep. But, that takes away any security for a heavy bleeder. I'm not talking about a heavy day during a "normal" period where a reasonable amount of blood is lost during a cycle. I'm talking about anemia-inducing heavy flows (ex: menorrhagia, postpartum, etc.). These women need extra protection, and you can't wear a pad in these. For light to moderate periods, or light bladder leaks even, these are pretty awesome in terms of leak prevention. The leak-proof panel is thicker and longer than their other styles, which is helpful. Reality check: IT FEELS WET. 😆 When you leak, you can definitely feel the material getting wet. Thankfully, it dries at a decent pace. I was surprised the outside didn't feel moist at all! The official care instructions are easy to follow. 1) Rinse the underwear of any blood. 2) Hand wash and hang dry or launder using the gentle/delicate cycle. No bleach. No fabric softener. I turned it inside for a better clean and faster dry. I was shocked when my friend pointed out these have a toxin warning! None of their other products have a toxin warning listed, so I assumed these were toxin free also. Due to this new information, I won't be using this product long-term, so I can't speak on its reliability or durability.
Very nice product overall but a bit spendy. Shrinks a bit when you wash them because they're 100% cotton. Definitely worth trying to get away from pads or tampons!
These are NOT for heavy flow individuals. Upon first wear, bled straight through them overnight. It wasn't even a matter of the padding not covering enough area, they genuinely just aren't liquid proof enough. They can't possibly be. You are better off with a pair of bike shorts and an overnight maxi pad size 5. Also, don't let them fool you by thinking that the padding goes all the way up. It's thickest in the crotch, then half as thick in the extra coverage zones, so basically no better than wearing a second pair of cotton underwear. For what it's worth, they do fit true to size for the most part. Mine were loose at the small of my back but held in place fine. They didn't scrunch up my thighs too badly. Skinny-legged people might want to size down. I wish I could get a refund for a defective product — DO NOT BUY!
