this is the best cooking vessel for stews, roasts, pasta sauce, etc. Any food that needs consistent temperature and long cooking times will benefit from this pot. This pot is very heavy, the lid alone is very heavy. this is the reason that this pot is so great. it holds the heat and steam in to consistently cook and tenderize. a great buy and a great price.

So impressed with this item and have officially transitioned to this from a crockpot. I swear the food has tasted so much better using this. It cooks evenly, comes up to a low simmer quickly, and the perfect size for 4-6 servings. It perfectly fit (with room to spare) 2.25lb roast with veggies/broth. So much easier to use and maneuver than a crock pot. Have used it both on the stove and oven and it's cooked perfectly in both.

Excellent quality Dutch oven. Love the smaller capacity than my large Dutch oven and the design of the lid is perfect…..not to mention extremely attractive! The pioneer woman collection has become my first choice for all things needed ( or should I say wanted) in my kitchen!

I love this Dutch oven! I chose it because it's oven safe up to 500 degrees like all of the leading Dutch oven brands that are over twice the price. The value and beauty and price of this Dutch oven is unbeatable. Great for making bread or a soup on the stove. I have successfully done both! I highly recommend.

This Dutch Oven exceeded my expectations. Great value for the price. I have several other big brand name Dutch Ovens and I would say the quality of this Pioneer Woman Dutch Oven is comparable, but at a much more affordable price point. I loved the soft white/linen color and the gentle raised emblem design on the lid. It comes with two lid knobs-which is a great addition. 5/5 for heat distribution and ease of cleaning.

Best Dutch oven I've ever owned. Well designed, heavy and quite beautiful. The lid itself has an interior dimpled surface to collect steam and drop it evenly throughout the interior of this Dutch oven. Has an additional Bakelite lid handle, but I like the one it has right out of the box. The item was packaged extremely well. There were a triple layer of boxes to protect it during shipping. Very thoughtful. The coating inside is flawless and durable. The exterior color is vibrant and chip resistant. All in all, this is a fantastic piece of cookware for a great price - well worth the money.

I love it,can wait to cook with it,or the other domed enameled steel one I bought a couple of days ago ,love it too,both are so pretty.

The dutch over is great but what I actually wanted to review was Wal-Marts delivery service. I really like that it was delivered the same day I ordered it.

Items need to be put in a secure packaging when being delivered so people can't see what it is. We already live in terrible times where people are desperate and taking people items with no regard

I am very,very disappointed. I bought this particular dutch oven for 500 degree metal knob.The knob was not included with the oven. I reported it. I sent a picture. I was told that they no longer have the metal knob.The company told me to take it up with the store I purchased it from!!!!! I really feel that this is not acceptable. I feel cheated and believe this is a case of false advertising!!! I am not happy at all. I feel like Wal-Mart should replace my dutch oven with one with the metal knob included or refund my money!!!!! I will gladly bring the dutch oven to the store for either a trade or a refund.
