The Pioneer Woman Manual Stainless Steel Food Peeler, Green

I love this peeler! The handle and sharpness make this a wonderful product. It's the first one I have found that allows me to cut my veggies with ease.

Couldn't find a plain potato peeler at Walmart online so settled for this even though over priced for what it is. I personally had a hard time using and it seemed to take longer than a plain peeler would. I guess it would work good, if you're making zucchini roses. I just wanted to peel potatoes. The blade is very sharp and you can't see it while peeling... so heads up

This works, it comes with a blade cover which I love, great handle, balance, and grip, and it's a very lovely vintage minty color. The issue comes in with the blade, it's sharp enough, and it does work. It just doesn't work efficiently. It's difficult to use and doesn't do great when peeling potatoes. It's more difficult that it should be. The blade is maybe too wobbly or something? I'm not sure, I just know that it's much more difficult to peel potatoes with this than it is with my last $1.00 peeler from the dollar store. It often loses its hold on the peel in the middle of a swipe. I had to hold it extremely hard and hold the potato with a hard grip, too, just to get it to perform okay. I've had much cheaper peelers that peeled much better and easier than this. It took much longer than normal to peel the same amount of potatoes I always peel for pot roast. It could be that I got one that was faulty because I've never had a bad experience with this brand before. I don't know, I just know that it wasn't up to the usual standard I've come to associate with The Pioneer Woman brand. I buy a lot of their products and have for years because I remeber when she ran a blog before she took off. I love her and her brand. Everything is so cute and I have so many Pioneer Woman items in my kitchen and home and even more in my wishlists. I really hate to give them anything other than a stellar review because the quality is usually there. The quality is here, too, because like I said it's a beautiful peeler, weighty and not cheaply made by any means. The handle is beautiful and fits nicely in the hand. It just doesn't perform at a level I've come to expect from them. It seems very well made and of quality materials and sadly it matches my kitchen perfectly. It just isn't practical to use a finicky, difficult peeler to peel potatoes, carrots, apples, and so on for a family as large as mine. Because when I make pot roast or mashed potatoes I often peel 3lbs of potatoes just for my own family, or more if I'm cooking for others, too. That takes some doin' and some time. Anything I use in the kitchen has to be practical and time saving and this just wasn't for me as much as I hate to say it.

I can't believe they call this a peeler. Need to go over the section multiple times.

Literally the worst peeler ever could find way better from the dollar store. Not sharp whatsoever, very dangerous to use. And the entire blade fell off as i was using it, dangerous and cheap.

This was definitely a mistake/ disappointment it was not what I expected . The blade won't cut / peel anything I hate I kept it. I wish I had sent it back.

Very disappointed!! I was expecting way more from this product. Wasn't too expensive but I tried peeling cucumbers and decided to peel with a knife!!
