The Pioneer Woman Mazie Floral 3-Wick Outdoor Citronella Candle, Blue

I love all things Pioneer Woman. These lovely citronella candles are very nice having a pleasant fragrance and helping with outdoor pests. Here in Louisiana, we can have mosquitoes even during cold months so these candles can be used almost every month. The bowls are large and will make lovely decorative pieces when the candles are used.

This is a 3 wick citronella candle. It is past mosquito season here, so I cannot rate the effectiveness, but it smells nice, and seems to have a touch of cinnamon in it. The bowl is really pretty, aqua/turquiose with white flowers on the outside, and a solid salmon color inside. The label attached to it says not to reuse the bowl for food, but it will make a very nice planter, or decorative bowl for keys, or odds and ends.

The first thing you notice is the bowl. All the Pioneer Woman products are beautiful and excellent quality and this bowl is reusable which is a plus! The front of the label is marked Citronella Candle but to my surprise it's not your typical Citronella Candle, this one has cinnamon added so it has a pleasant smell for those of us who don't care for citronella.

This large candle is gorgeous! It's 11oz, comes in a ceramic bowl type dish by pioneer woman and teally staves off bugs with the citronella scent. It's a beautiful blue theme of flowers. The dish is heavy ceramic and can be used for something else once all the wax has burned up. Was packed extremely well with about 5 inches of bubble wrap on top and again on bottom of the box, plus the candle itself was wrapped and taped in several layers of thick bubble wrap. Not 1 chip in it! Very impressed!! Worth every cent.

The Pioneer Woman Mazie Floral, 3 wick outdoor citronella candle, Blue is 13 0unces .the bowl is about 7" in diameter .The bowl on outside is blue with with floral design and inside is a peach like color very beautiful .The candle has 3 wicks and is intended for outdoor use .The candle itself is scented with citronella & essential oils & with cinnamon scent. The vessel can be repurpose after candle is used up , but can not be use as a feeding vessel. Read instructions well, and keep children away. I would recommend this candle for outdoor use it is so gorgeous watch the compliments come.

The Pioneer Woman Maize Floral Outdoor 3 Wick Candle arrived in good condition. It is attractive and efficient in providing outdoor lighting, as well as, mosquito protection. There are precautions to be taken as always: keep flame in view at all times away from children. Three wicks provide adaquate lighting. The scent is pleasant. The pottery attractive. In fact, after the citronella has been used up it is recommended to use the vessel for something else.

Mosquitoes are a the worst, right? Well I live in North Carolina where the summer nights come with a nice buffet. And we are the main course. The gazebo in my back yard has netting around it for bugs and such. Mainly to keep out bees and flies but sometimes it works a little to keep out mosquitoes. But for the most part those little suckers find their way through. That's where citronella candles come in handy. Citronella works well to keep them away. I know this from experience but I've been unable to test this particular candle yet because we've already had our first freeze and well the mosquitoes are gone. Now with all that said, let me tell you about The Pioneer Woman Vintage Floral, 3-Wick Outdoor Citronella Candle in blue. First of all, it's very lovely! The pattern is pretty and it really dresses up my outdoor area. I love the fact that the inside is pink. It just adds to the allure. Secondly, it's a really big candle! It measures approximately 7 inches in diameter and 3½ inches deep. It's a 3-wick candle and it goes deep into the bowl. It should last a long long time. Lastly, the bowl is ceramic and I really don't know if it's possible but after the candle is depleted I'm hoping to possibly get all the wax out and reuse the bowl. It's a great decorative piece. I'm very pleased with it and I know you will be, too.

I received this candle as a promotional item. Unfortunately by the time I received it the mosquito season was over. So I can only review the other aspects of this candle. The candle arrived very well packaged. When I opened the box I was taken aback by the strong scent from the citronella. I set it outside for a few days and now the scent is actually fairly pleasant, much more than most citronella candles. The pottery bowl is cute. I expected the teal blue color to on the pot to be a little darker/ more vivid based on the image I saw on my phone when ordering. It took awhile to get the wicks lit and I had to relight 2 of them with only a mild breeze blowing. However, after that it did stay lit. It is unfortunate that I cannot tell you if it is effective to deter bugs.

I love the bowl this candle is in. I've kept this outside since spring. It's lasted a few months until the wicks wouldn't light anymore. With the Georgia heat and rain the left over candle wax was floating in water. Perfectly fine with me because now I have a great little serving bowl!

This is a good size 3 wick outdoor citronella candle. The base is well made. Unlike some of Pioneer Woman's product that are fun and colorful, I find this color a bit muted. The blue is like a teal turquoise color. It's very muted and the pinkish color inside the candle is very bland. I don't prefer these colors and I'm not sure why she chose them. Overall I gave it 4 stars for product quality.
