I love the color and it is strong metal throughout the handle, very heavy so now chopping through things like coconut becomes effortless but definitely wear gloves and keep hands free, strong sharp metal. Very handy kitchen tool. My son is a chef and he loves to use for chopping onions and veggies because it literally slices through them with zero effort. A have to have, Kitchen tool. Nice handle to hold. Well crafted.

This cleaver is very nice-looking, has a good grip, handles well, and is extremely sharp. The blade is 7 inches long with a total length of a smidge over 12 inches. Each corner of the blade has a little plastic slip cover which I keep on to protect myself. I've never owned a cleaver and this one surpasses everything I expected. It is a lot larger and heavier than I thought it would be, so it does what it was made to do. This Pioneer Woman Cleaver Baby was crafted well, it did not disappoint and I highly recommend it.

I just love this cleaver. I have a smaller Pioneer Woman cleaver and it’s been great and has held up nicely for the three years I have had it. This one is quite a bit bigger and I just love it. Not only does it look really nice but Ive used it daily for about the last two weeks and I just love it. The weight and size make chopping up everything from pizza to chicken to steak really easy and honestly pretty fun. I can see myself using this for years to come. I would happily recommend you add this to your collection of kitchen knives

This cleaver is nice and sharp. We were able to use it right away after taking it out of the packaging, and washing it. It works exactly as it is advertised. It's got some weight to it, but a nice lightweight feel while in your hands. You do feel a pull down while holding it, but that is a normal feeling with cleavers in my experiences.

I enjoy cooking but sometimes have cook in a hurry so I like to prep my meal as soon as possible and this has helped alot. This cleaver is a beautiful blue that is eye catching! The cleaver is not too heavy which makes controlling each cut easy and precise each time. I have chopped onions, mushrooms, bacon, chicken, strawberries and lots more with this cleaver. It doesn't take much pressure at all for the cleaver to cut through food and I can make make sure each piece is the same size so everything cooks in the same amount of time. I have used this cleaver almost every day in the past few weeks and it is still very sharp! I was the cleaver really good with a spong and soap before washing it in the dishwasher to make sure ita good and clean after every use. The cleaver is great quality because it's still strong and sharp as the first day I got it.

When I first held the cleaver, I thought the handle was a little small for me but perfect for my wife. However, I found that the handle was just right for me for my chopping needs. Very sharp and very good balance in my hand. The height of the cleaver is also very good for my chopping needs.

This is a great versatile tool for slicing, chopping through all types of foods. Chop your meats, vegetables and fruits with the tough blade on this cleaver because it can withstand repeated blows. The handle is easy to grip and doesn’t slip while using it. It is very durable and is held on with 3 rivets. The blade is made of high carbon stainless steel. Is rust resistance. This is a great product to add to your collection of knives. I highly recommend this cleaver.

I love all of pioneer woman's products (that I've tried thus far), this clever is no exception. Its perfect for cutting thick meats and bones. I used it to cut my chicken and had no problems whatsoever (unlike other knives where I have a difficult time cutting). Would definitely recommend especially if you are a foody who loves to cook. This clever is so sharp, and it’s the perfect weight for the wrist. Absolutely no issues using his clever. Since I received this clever, I’ve not used a kitchen knife yet.. I use it to slice, shred, and chop. Nice sharp blade, with a comfortable hole for hanging... it’s so sharp, I will not store with other knives. My reason deducting a star is for safety reason, I believe a sleeve should be included.

I have really enjoyed using this Pioneer Woman cleaver. It has the linen handle. The blade is sharp and has handled a variety of foods...meats and vegetables...extremely well. It is heavy enough so a lot ot pressure is not needed for chopping. The blade is a full-tang stainless steel with a good shape for cutting or chopping. The handle would be designed a bit better if there could be more of a "grip shape" instead of so straight. The butt or pommel needs to be more defined.
