The Pioneer Woman Pioneer Signature Stainless Steel Nakiri Knife, 6.5 inch, Teal

The Pioneer Woman makes some really beautiful looking cookware and cooking accessories, but this signature nakiri knife has got to be the prettiest by far. This 6.5 knife is not only beautiful, but extremely useful in the kitchen. I don't know that I'll ever use any of my other knives again. The precision sharp stainless steel blade cuts so quickly, and easily, I found myself using it for cutting meats, dicing vegetables, and slicing cheese and fruit. The blade just glides through anything allowing you to cut as thick, or thin as you desire. I love to use fruit, especially lemon, on broiled fish. Preparing super thin slices of lemon was effortless. Works the same for vegetables, too. I loved how this knife feels. The design, and balance, makes it easy to have total control of this knife as you prepare your meal. I am by no means a professional chef, but this knife handles so nicely it makes you feel like one. It actually made food preparation easy and fun! I highly recommend this knife to anyone who cooks - novice or professional.

Once again Pioneer Woman has made the perfect tool for cutting! This knife was phenomenal! It cuts evenly and no matter what type of food I'm cutting the knife went through smoothly. The handle is very sturdy and easy to grasp. I would definitely recommend this product to my friends and family.

I have to say I've never owned a knife like this. It is very sharp and it cuts very good . The floral handle is a plus. Slices right through like butter. Good for chopping meat. Very sturdy and good quality.

I love these knives! I actually bought a pairing knife in this color/style and some matching baking pans. My hubby doesn't particularly care for the Pioneer woman cutlery..or anything from the line really (understandable) but I love these in particular. In the past I had bought a set that had flowers painted on the steel and they faded and actually made me a little nervous to use because the paint was coming off. I'm not the best cook (baking is more my thing) but as a mama of a toddler I am constantly reaching for these knives to cut up food. I use the pairing knife for cutting up strawberries apples cucumbers..etc but this one is great for a variety of other purposes. We've been trying to simplify so these were the two main knives I decided to buy and I use them the most. A good chef knife is also good to have on hand—although I have not tried the PW chef knife.

Saw the knife on her TV show and thought it looked like a handy one to own so I check the price less than $11 so I ordered it for pickup. Next day I drove up and a nice young man came out greeted me and off I went . I doubt I waited more than 3 minutes . Great product, love the knife and terrific customer service

I was anxious to try this Pioneer Woman Signature Nakiri Knife. I had never purchased anything from this Brand , happy I chose this to try. It was very easy to hold even though it was a larger knife Smooth Handle Sharp right out of the Package I used it preparing my Brisket today for St.Patricks Day, for trimming, and cutting my vegetables too. I been using this knife for a week and it still sharp , the color it's very nice I liked it , the shape it's the only thing that I'm not that fan of it but other than that it's a very well made knife , I got a fast shipping Walmart always delivers on that part , the only down side on this knife is if you have issues with your hands or wrists it would be a problem because this is a heavy duty knife , but other than that this Stainless Steel Nakiri Knife, Red it's a pretty nice addition to your kitchen if you like the pioneer woman brand this it's for you . I was disappointed to see this knife did not have a sheath, like most Pioneer Woman knives do. I have a small and medium Nakiri knife, same brand, and they came with sheaths and are MUCH sharper than this one. I can usually cut up veggies with no problem, but not with this one. I finally had to stop trying to cut a tomato and use a different knife, though it did work fine on lettuce and for slicing up cucumbers, though I did have to use a different knife to peel it. So, in good conscience, I can't recommend this knife.
