First I made fried rice, then I fried eggs to top it. It heats up really quickly and I did not notice any hot spots. It is really deep; I will probably learn to fry chicken. The glass lid lets you see what is happening in the pan, and the vent means you don't have to set the lid off center to reduce sauces. The wooden lid knob and pan handle stay cool to the touch, so there is not need for potholder. It says dishwasher safe, but grease just wipes out with paper towel and then a quick swipe with soapy sponge and rinse. Couldn't be easier.

This pan is beautiful and cooks very well! The bottom is level, and the heat spreads evenly. I cooked my breakfast in it (egg whites, shredded cheese, onions, peppers) and the eggs weren't burned or runny. The pan came clean without any spray. My one note is that the white handle gets hot - we have another pan like this that has a covered edge on that handle, so I grabbed it on muscle memory. So don't make my mistake. :) The pan has a good weight to it, but it's not too heavy to move around. The lid fits well, and it all washes easily.

My wife loves everything about Pioneer Woman. This pan is large so she can really do some cooking with it. It's cast aluminum and at 4 qts you can really cook a large meal. At first glance it looks really heavy but surprisingly it's super lightweight. Comes with a lid which is a bonus. The wooden handle on the pan and lid gives it the extra charm. Food doesn't stick and it cleans up really easy. It's designed for rugged use too. Great pan.

This did not disappoint! I'm in love with the size. 4 qts is perfect for many dishes. Tonights meal I made a homemade spinach alfredo sauce in it. This pan heats evenly and is great for searing, sauteing, frying or just letting a stew ruminate. It is a beautiful piece and a great addition to my collection! I've used other pieces from this set for over a year now and can attest to the quality! This is a light colored pan but they clean up so easily. Only one small pan that gets used daily has a tiny bit of darkened bottom, much like a dutch oven will get over repeated use. But other than that, they look new. I've never had pots and pans last the way these have. The handles don't get hot making for easy transfer and they are beautiful as well! This 4 qt is probably the perfect size if you are looking to purchase one pot though. It can do it all.

I really like everything about this fryer. Its really large and deep. I can cook more items in it instead of cooking a few pieces and then adding another batch. Also love that it comes with a top. Its not really heavy. Perfect size and weight. I would definitely recommend this fryer.

This aluminum fry pan is so nice,I almost hate to use it. I especially like the beautiful wooden handle that gives it a classy accent to the granite look pan. This 4 quart jumbo pan is cast aluminum with a non-stick coating for easy cleaning. One other thing I like about this pan is it seems larger and lighter than I expected. The directions claim it can be placed in and oven for a short time. 30 minutes at 350. I don't plan on doing that. I wouldn't want to ruin the nice handle. I have other cookware just for oven use.

This 4-quart frying pan from Pioneer Woman is a nicely designed pan with a very nice wooden handle and speckle finish. It is very easy to clean and certainly non-stick. The glass cover also has a nice wooden handle and the pan itself has a good handle on the side to help left it. The only thing to be aware of is that while it states that it is oven safe it is only oven safe for 30 minutes. Most likely due to the wooden elements. Cool pan though and I would recommend it.

I got this to replace a very similar sized and shaped Teflon pan. The looks of this one is great! I've tested pan searing salmon and it turned out perfectly done. The two problems the I saw was the fact that the oil became black and burnt very fast which I think it is due to the other problem I've noticed which it is that says to use it only on medium heat and I've cooked between medium and hot. It left a brownish mark on the bottom too. Overall is great. Dishwasher safe.

This pan measures about 20.5 inches wide, from handle to handle, and 3.5 inches deep. The interior of the pan measures about 11 inches in diameter. What I like about the Pioneer Woman Prairie Signature Pan that it is large enough for me to make soup for a family of five and one pot dishes like chicken curry with carrots. What I do not like about the Pioneer Woman Prairie Signature Pan is the bottom of the pan. The bottom of the pan has an engraved design. I have a glass stove top and my concern was that the engraving may scratch my glass stove top. Therefore, I will most likely use this pan only on my hotplate. Overall, the Pioneer Woman Prairie Signature Pan is a great functional pan to use for my family. However, I will only use this pan on a hot plate due to the decorative bottom.
