The Pioneer Woman Rustic Olive Wood Spoon

Spoon had a couple rough spots that need to touched up with 200 grit sandpaper. After that and a good coat of mineral oil their appearance is the same as some of the 30 and $40 spoons I own. As with a lot of wood products, There's gonna be a lot of variance due to manufacturing and harshness of shipping. This may be an item you wanna go to the store and put your hands on first before purchasing. Overall, great spoon!

I bought the whole set! These are great! So much bigger than the ones I have and look so nice all together on my counter in a crock. Feel great in your hand and good quality!

This wooden turner and a cast iron skillet go together like peas and carrots. LOL. It's a great turner. Thin (which it should be) at the edge for turning food and scraping the pan bits. Other ones are way too thick on the edge. After yes, I wipe it down if the it's a lil it needs or was it. If I wash it, I let it dry first but then apply a tiny drop of oil and massage in the wood to recondition it and prevent splitting. Take care of her and she will last like a cast iron skillet.

Most of the pots and pans that we use are ones in which you cannot use metal. So, wood or plastic it is. That’s why I chose this Pioneer Woman Rustic Olive Wood spoon to review. I have two older bamboo spoons that have stood the test of time for years. I have had these Pioneer Woman spoons for several months and they are also standing the test of time. There is a tiny bit of wear on the end of one of them. But that is it. They are very good quality and look nice, too. They are not too short, so I can use them in large pots. I pretty much use these spoons everytime I cook. They are easy to clean. I don’t have to soak them to get off old food. A plastic scrubber will get the job done. So, this olive wood holds up very well. And they have the cool holes at the end of the spoon, giving you the option of hanging them up or tossing them in the drawer.

The Pioneer Woman Olive Wood 3 Piece Mini Kitchen Tool Set is perfect for cooking in the kitchen or to give as part of a gift set. The wood has a beautiful natural two toned grain and is solid. There is a two ended spoon for stirring and tasting. Each end is a different size that can be used for various needs. Then the other two utensils are like curved spatulas, with one being wide and the other is skinny (the information sheet calls these a cross between a spoon and a spatula and names them as a spurtle). I have used these for stirring and scooping out ingredients from jars. These are so smooth and I have not experienced any splintering. The care instructions say these should be hand washed and a dishwasher is not recommended. I don't have a dishwasher so this isn't an issue for me. I have experienced issues in the past with wooden products being submerged in water so instead of letting these soak with my regular dishes I just wash these right after use, pat them with a towel, and then let them finish air drying. The packaging is a paper/cardboard and can be recycled. The wood set is made in China.

Arrived with big chip. Had to return. Loved wavy handle, easy to grip. Oversized which for me was nice. Very pretty wood grain. Hand wash, do not let it soak. Easy to clean. Little olive oil or avocado oil to keep it in good condition and pretty.

Beautiful spatula to replace metal and plastic ones. Wood is smooth, pretty. I think it has a butterfly or something etched into the handle. I didn't like the thickness on the front though. Will it get under a fried egg? We will keep it regardless because it is healthier. Looks good in crock on my counter.
